Job Update

So as some of you know, I had recently got a job at Circle K. My first day of training of a three day training program didn't go so great. I even thought about quitting because of how demanding it was
. Not only do you have to keep track of receipts but also get every single report and hope that you did not up. My second day went even smoother, I had more hands on time with the register. The register is a pain to learn if you have never had any prior experience with any. Everything is touch based and has a slight difficulty curve. However, the second day was also the busiest as it was the day of the powerball . I swear, everyone walks out with a Polar Pop (a soft drink in a Styrofoam cup). I soon got the hang of it but I don't like the location of the store because it is to busy for me to keep up with the demand. Thankfully I won't be working at this store but at a store in town which is way slower and to my liking. Friday will be my last day of training and hope it goes by fast so I can look forward to the store in town. |

Rosterking. Just keep at it. We learn from our mistakes. That's just how we grow. Of course you're going to make mistakes when you first start. I've been in my field for 13 years. If I tried to train someone to do what I do, I cannot imagine how many mistakes they would make over the course of the first few weeks. It's to be expected. Stay positive and you'll do just fine!

Good luck, just keep at it. It probably seems like a lot now, but you will get the hang of it and add your own style to it. That is how all jobs are.
