MATTJ1991's Top 10 Movies of 2012 I saw a lot of movies this year but if I had to pick a favorite I would have to go with Looper since it was both entertaining and original. I found the marketing to be a little misleading however as they sold the film as Bruce Willis fighting JGL the entire time and while this is a big part of the movie I found there to be so much more. Looper  I don't want to get into spoiler territory so I'll just urge people to see it now that it's out on Blu-ray and Demand, it earns my stamp of approval. Looper was a good watch highly recommend it to anyone on the fence about seeing it.

I definitely enjoyed the big superhero movie from 2012, and I wanted to but haven't gotten around to Skyfall/Hobbit/Dredd yet. Did not like Chronicle though, but overall it was definitely a great year for movies IMO.

I have Looper on the way from Netflix, I hope I like it. Typically time-travel movies irritate me.

I think you'll enjoy it if you don't over-analyze the time travel, it's not that type of movie. It's more along the lines of Terminator then 12 Monkeys. |

good job on having Django and Prometheus on your list. Django is probably the most fun I had at the movies this year, and Prometheus was a very good sci-fi movie that u need to watch the extra stuff on it on blu-ray its great stuff and Ridley Scott isn't done with making sci- fi movies yet. Fassbender and Leo for the win!
