Want a tattoo, bought an Elliptical instead

I've wanted a tattoo for a while now, I have no idea what I want though. I know they say decide on something, let it mull for a couple of months and then go for it if you still want it but I've been trying to figure out what I wanted for years. Just isn't happening. So far the only tattoo I'm going to get is one my dad has, but he's gotta die before I get a memorial tattoo of his tattoo.
So instead of trying to figure out what to get stabbed with, I bought an Elliptical instead. When I did have a gym membership, the Elliptical was the only machine I really really enjoyed and I couldn't stand a treadmill, it was only good for warming me up for the Elliptical. I went to Sears just to step on a few and I was going to get the Sole E25 but it was very wobbly, too wobbly side to side. The base was not as wide and flat as I would have liked it in the front of the machine, so I ended up ordering the Sole E35 instead. The Elliptical gets delivered on the 19th and I've committed myself to losing weight and getting my energy level back up to where it was. I'm just tired all the time and it's not acceptable, I don't do enough walking or dog wrestling/chasing to count it as exercise. Now I just need to get the music situation settled and I should be good to go, I'm sure I can hook up a phone and use Spotify or something. |

I'm actually looking for an elliptical, and that one looks nice. I look forward to hearing from your experience with it. Good luck!

I don't like ellipticals simply because they feel too easy... I feel like it's moving my body for me. I could spend an hour on it and it says I'm burning way more calories then the treadmill, but I don't feel it at all. I barely sweat, and I just never feel like I get a good workout. The only thing that thanks me is my joints, but I would rather be dripping sweat and feel like I accomplished something challenging.
So yea, I've been looking into a home gym for awhile now, kind of waiting to make my big move and settle into a new place first... but I'll definitely be going treadmill. Still boring, but I feel it's much more effective. |

So what are the theological differences between Ellipticals and Catholics anyway?

@the_grimace I've ended up a sweaty slob with my heart rate hitting the target goals. While I held onto the swinging bars I spent more time pushing down with my legs and then using my arms as my legs tired, switching back and forth. I would actually try to "punch" with the bars as much as possible.
They are "easy" machines to simply hop on and stay on, relatively safe in that if you need to stop, you can just simply stop. I felt it was actually safer for me than a treadmill because I wasn't going to end up like these guys. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WtvdFeUbb6I |

instead of getting something you may later regret, you now have something you can hate everyday.....

Ellipticals can just be as challenging for me when I utilize programs such as interval training when the resistance changes throughout the entire workout. If you try to put in the same amount of effort as the elliptical shifts back and forth between low and high resistance levels, you can definitely feel the burn.

I'd like to get something like this, but they're so expensive and I just do see myself having the willpower to use it yet.

@Noel, how did you completely massacre the first half of your sentence and then spell "mass genocide of indigenous people" correctly?

@tylerh They are expensive but I opted for 18 months no interest with home delivery and assembly. So roughly $1550 over the course of 18 months, $86.07 a month. It is a lot of money. It's only $31 dollars a pound if I only lose 50 pounds but those 50 pounds are worth more than $1550.

@ gettingmoney - How did i massacre it? well, that's a simple answer, i didn't check my grammar. Duh, isn't it obvious just by looking at it.
