Tech Pet Peaves?

What stuff really grinds your gears when it comes to technology here are some of mine.
1. The trend in non user replaceable batteries. For phones that you upgrade every two years it's probably not that big of a deal since the battery will outlast your contract but, for a $1000 laptop like a macbook I would find a way to make use of it until the thing was completely dead. If the only problem with a device is the battery I would like to be able to replace the battery without taking the entire damn thing apart. Is that too much to ask? Also what if the thing is hard bricked? What should i be forced to wait until the battery drains completely? 2. Glossy Screen Trend: They are good for movies and games but for real work I don't want to see my face staring back at me. Matte Screens are so much batter for long use and actual work. 3. Companies removing functionality that users come to expect. I bought a nexus 7 thinking that it would be great because I could download drm free video files and just copy and paste them onto the device from my linux machine. Oh and why would I expect that? Oh I don't know maybe the fact that I've been able to do it on my phone which runs the same os for the last 2 years. Mass Storage is quicker for file transfers period and it is also universal no matter what os you use. Sorry just needed to rant. |

1. You just have to take the bottom of the macbook off to replace the battery.
2. I only have this problem outdoors, which might have something to do with the tint on my glasses. 3. Why not take the few minutes to find out if the features your looking for are available in something your going to purchase? |

1. As stated before, chaging the battery couldnt be any easier, pop the bottom off and the battery is right in your face
2. Get a Matte screen protector, glossy screens look better inside 3. get an OTG cable for your nexus |

OTG Cable lets me plug usb storage into nexus not use my nexus as usb storage. And I'm positive replacing battery is easy on the macbook it's just some people might not want to open it up period. and 3 glossy screens look better inside is a matter of opinion
