Your Thoughts On an Ebay Listing

So I'm selling an item on ebay, and I had a buyer ask me to sell my item at a lower Buy It Now price. I had it set at $250 (shooting HIGH) and lower it to $150. I was selling:
-Aqua Blue 3DS (no box), Charger, a carrying case, one of those add-on battery pack things, and AR Cards that came with it - Paper Mario Sticker Star - Pokemon Black Version 2 - The World Ends With You - Legend of Zelda Ocarina of Time 3D - Downloaded games (Pushmo, VVVVV, Excitebike, Super Mario Bros) Just want your opinion on what it would go for. It's currently at $102, with 8 more days left on the auction. Part of me is regretting not going elsewhere to sell this, but it was a spur of the moment type thinking.... Thanks |

My guess is you'll get up to $150-$175 before shipping and fees, I mean that is a good amount of stuff. A brand new 3DS just sold for $120 on there. You might have seen a little bit more success by selling the games separately, but I guess it's too late for that.
I don't really love selling on ebay unless it's something I'm just looking to turn into money (for example I sold two of my 4GB Vita memory cards on there, one went for $9.99 and the other for $8.50 before fees/shipping. I probably could have gotten a little bit more if I was patient, but I just wanted to see a few bucks out of them, because any news of a Vita memory card price drop are going to make the 4GBs irrelevant). Also, I think the 3DS XL took a huge bite out of the demand for a 3DS. |

Thanks. Yeah, I figured if I was lucky I would break $200, but I didn't think I would. Really didn't want to bother with 5 different shipments, so just threw it all together.

As a buyer i would have told you too, to lower your price on your bundle. But as a seller, you went to low!! I would have at least gone $75 done. Not a whole $100.

Apparently ebay doesn't allow me to change the Buy It Now price once a bid has went in. I was thinking lowering it to $200, and the closer it got to the last day keep lowering it.
Guess that's not an option now... |

Yeah, as far as I know, as soon as the first bid is in, Buy It Now is no longer an option.

Yeah it straight out disappears, since theres someone who wants to buy it. You should never listen to buyers. Do what you feels more right.

Typically items on ebay don't see the most action until the last day or two, so don't get too discouraged while you still have 8 days left!
Also, as tyler said, unless you're really looking to save yourself some time & effort on shipping, try not to bulk items together. You'll usually get a bit more money if you list them piecemeal. |

^This is definitely true. You'll probably see your item plateau at least for a few days, until you get a lot closer to the expiration of your auction. One of my vita memory cards sat at it's opening bid of $4.99 for over 4 days, then shot up to $8.50 within the last hour.

Since you were okay with $200, you should have left it at $250 with a make-an-offer minimum of $200 and left it alone till closing.
Nevertheless, I think you'll get around $200 for it anyway. Edit the listing to include one picture for each and every item they're getting (including DLC items). You can add as many pics to the actual description by embedding them via HTML. This may help to get people interested by letting them know they're not just bidding on a 3DS with a "few extras." |
