best described on the scanlator's page, Franken Fran is:

"...basically a super dark, slightly gore-ish comedy about being careful what you wish for. Fran can make anyone into anything, raise the dead, switch heads and bodies and give you those eyes that you've always wanted. But do you actually want them? Is it a good thing to raise the dead? Do the ends justify the means? And does Fran care?"

I'm really liking it, sure the gore and a good deal of the imagery can be creepy most of the time. But Fran, she's just so CUTE. And she has a heart, it just might not be in the normal place, or even human. But who cares! It's funny! Right now, I'm kinda thinking a Franken Fran figurine would be cool. With extra arms, and detailed stiches... If you liked xxxHolic, and don't mind the guts, you might like this.

Currently Franken Fran is unlicensed in the US. Really don't see much of chance of it published in English either. So have to give major thanks to the staff of SnoopyCool for the ongoing scanlation of this little gem. You can either get it from them or read it online at OneManga.com. Which by the way should be getting more LineBarrels of Iron chapters (Listed under the Japanese title of Kurogane no Linebarrel) in the next couple of days since the latest scanlated volume was just released.
