Hey guys, I'm wondering if you can help me figure out what I should do. Back in the day when I was first starting out with my eBay business I picked up a lot of Nintendo Gamecube consoles (when they were still "in"). They sold for about $50 a pop back then and I was selling them pretty regularly with and without games. Nowadays the system is only worth about $20 or so from what I gather and a lot of the 3rd party games are worth practically nothing. Gamestops and other places don't want to take them in as trades and shipping them costs almost half as much as they are worth. Anyone have any idea what to do with them? I still have about 5 of them and they're just taking up space in my small office (it's only about 35-40 square feet). If you have any suggestions I'd love to hear it. I am keeping one (my personal Gamecube, despite having a Wii because I like to use the Gameboy player from time to time). Thanks guys!

Update: A lot of you are asking about what games I have. I have more than 100 games for Gamecube, so I guess I can post them in sections. Here is the first group of games I have:

Gamecube Stack #001

Gamecube Stack #002:

Gamecube Stack #003:

Gamecube Stack #004:

Gamecube Stack #005:

If a game appears in more than one picture/stack it means that they are seperate games. I have many duplicates

I actually have both but they're currently in my personal collection. I might let them go though if you were willing to buy them since I'm strapped for cash =P

Actually, you have a Wave Race at the bottom of the first pic.

how much could a guy get for just selling a GC with two controllers? I'm broke as hell and need moneyz.

btw man great collection, looks all mint too!

Hehe you're right actually about Wave Race Didn't realize I had two. Yes most are near mint condition. A few have scuffs and a few discs have minor scratches and stuff but overall they're in great shape. Thanks for all the feedback guys!

I want that entire set...very...very badly..

EDIT: P.S. Forget those "game only" chumps (no offense), Basil wants the whole package.

I would love to buy some of the games you have. I'm not guaranteeing anything, obviously.

Especially interested in:
Legend of Zelda Collector's Edition (a long shot)
Mario Kart: Double Dash!!
Metroid Prime 2: Echoes
Paper Mario: Thousand Year Door
Super Mario Sunshine

Pikmin and Pikmin 2 command a very nice price on eBay, even used and player's choice.
You could try donating to a hospital. And you can send an RF Adapter my way (it's hard sharing between a GC and N64 on different shelves).

Thanks for all the offers guys. I'm going to try and work with all of you to get you the games you want Lowball offers of $5 for a game that sells for $30+ though won't be welcome. Most of you offer very fair values and since I'm strapped for cash I'm willing to take them Thanks!

I've been trying to find a GC with Mario Kart and Tales of Symphonia for a while (for my wife). I don't have any funds available, but I would be happy to trade multiple items from my list if they might sell a bit better for you.

How much for Simpsons Hit and Run?
goomba478's Avatar
@thelonepig, I'd be happy to work something out with you for the Gamecube and games you're looking for. I don't mind trading though I'm not sure what a fair trade would be. Perhaps we can figure out what the games are worth $$ wise and we can work something out. I'll take a better look at your list later

@youruglyclone, I'd be happy to sell it to you. I'm looking for about $30 for Ikaruga. It's in really great condition and complete. Let me know.

@soccerstud652, $11 for Simpsons Hit and Run Shipped. Thanks!

Sounds great Goomba. Shoot me a PM when you've had a chance to look things over. No rush.

I sold a good number of games which has really helped me a lot guys. I appreciate it. I'm going to start listing some on eBay starting next week. I'll have to do a follow up to this entry to show which games are still available. Sold about 20% of them not bad!
