If it's a jelly doughnut, then only some kind of idiot would accept it.

Funny story Wombat,
A company I worked for got free Krispy Kreme donuts to give out as a promotion (as they were a corporate partner). Every day we'd go and pick up like 20 dozen at their store and give them out wherever we were that day. I didn't think it was possible to get sick of them, but eat 1-3 every day for a month, and I swear to you, you will stop taking free donuts. |

Every doughnut should be consumed upon request. No excuses.

Maybe if it were free cake and didn't have any fruit in it.

Yeah, you don't accept jelly donuts. But it's not, you take that thing like a crackfiend. Especially if it has chocolate frosting and sprinkles.

I am a pretty regular customer at my local Dunkin Donuts and about one month ago, they began giving me free stuff all the time. Donuts, muffins, drinks. It has gotten to the point where I am kind of embarrassed to go in since I know I'll be leaving with a bunch of stuff. I just give it to the concierge and staff of my building now.

i kinda have a problem with this. If someone doesn't want to receive free food for health reasons or b/c they are just not hungry and they are polite about the rejection of free food, then they shouldn't be criticized for this. just my two cents

If it was Krispy Kreme, I'd be all over free doughnuts. They're like sugar covered in sugar. And they are delicious.
