It's quite interesting. I mean, what IGN considers good deals, I'm sure most CAGs would say is still too expensive for them. Or maybe not... it seems DS games are the most stubborn of the bunch when it comes to pricing. Nintendo and Square can easily charge more than the $29.99, yet there probably won't ever be an official price drop on them... That said, they did make a very good point in mentioning the economy. Even though most CAGs are able to get games dirt cheap, buying a game just to throw into your backlog probably isn't the smartest thing to do now. With economic unsurity looming in the future, even $5 you spend on that great game that you don't play could eventually come back to bite you. |

On the Nintendo side, I was surprised to see Elite Beat Agents on the list. Is it really that cheap nowadays? |

^^I didn't know Rocket Slime had a price drop, but I did know about the ones for FF3 and Front Mission. And while I'll be prefectly willing to offer a a big "you're right" (cuz you are), it isn't at all a stretch to say those 3 games price droped because they did not proform at all as well as SE was expecting them, too. Front Mission is basically dead in America, and a non-RPG game featuring a Dragon Warrior monster probably wasn't going to attract much positive attention from the fans. FF3, I think they just expected too much of that game and it didn't deliver it all.
