Warhawk...Dying?!

So if you still play Warhawk outside of CAG night then you might've noticed some biggies. Enough to consider the game "dead".
Official Servers- The server rotations are mixed up and have the wrong rotations, they sometimes won't take the stats for you to rank up, they won't allow ranks in even though they are under the max rank. MIC- No matter what you do the in game voice communication will not be fixed with out a patch form Incog/Sony, sometimes the notification that someone is talking won't come up at all People lagging when there is nothing wrong with connection- You might've noticed that more and more people are starting to do the jumping thing even though they are not lagging at all. Even I was jumping up and down 10 ft high, and I have a perfect connection! Incognito asking Sony, Sony not providing- The Warhawk community has begged Incog, who has begged Sony for a patch, one final patch that would fix most of the problems with the game. Holiday Season Kills- Warhawk is no longer being updated , there are no more patches to fix the problem,no patch to fix the Voice communication, many new games coming out that are great this holiday season, player base went from a good 5,000+ to 2,000+ (this sunday), and weekdays it's getting about 1,000, slowly decreasing this game is in a dying state. It might last another longer if Sony would allow an update to fix the problems. People aren't asking for new content just a fix for the old Warhawk never really reached it's full potential, if they had another Incognito gamer day and then updated it ONE LAST TIME, it would be able to survive maybe into Q2 of next year. Probably the longest blog post I've ever made (sorry) you are only interested this if you are a big fan of Warhawk. The worst part? Warhawk 2 is almost impossible Incognito is too small a dev team to make something that massive. |

That saddens me since I've yet to get a chance to play the game even with CAGs.

Like I said on IM, right now there's a mass server problem on Sony's side right now. Basically all of their new releases have been affected by this. What makes it harder on them is that some third parties have been running multiple large online games for a while, but this is Sony's biggest online year ever, so they had to greatly expand their network to support all games. Some network issues are tough to discover because it could be not enough servers, bugs in the servers, or firmware related (Some firmware updates have fixed stability issues with certain games).
Right now they just have their hands full and Warhawk probably isn't the top priority. However, I really doubt it will be killed off because it just became Greatest Hits, finally released a demo (to get more people into Warhawk) and still selling decently. |

@maguszxz
Same here. I didn't sign up for CAG until my PS3 broke. Now that it's new, my connection won't work right. I bought Warhawk with BT for $30 w/Best Buy and have yet to even play it online, nonetheless with a CAG. |

that's pretty much why I'm done with warhawk. it was fun while it lasted. when i play with my friends, i want to chat it up with them, not play in dead silence. plus I got extremely bored with the gameplay.
