This is another one of my pick-up threads, along with other random stuff (mostly going to discuss my weekend and future plans).

Yes, I know that’s shocking to hear, Mana Knight buying a 360 game. Well, I had a rain check at Target for the longest time where I could get Halo 3 for $30 new. My Target finally got in a new stock (last one sold out quickly), so I decided to pick it up. Right now I’m debating whether I’ll keep it or return it, but I mostly picked it up because my rain-check expired and I always wanted Halo 3. I played my best friend’s copy a few times liking what I played, so I wanted to pick it up (but was normally $60 new and still kind of expensive used). I also wanted an FPS on my 360 with online multiplayer (Please don’t recommend Call of Duty 4 because I already owned it and played it), so I felt it was the perfect buy. I really liked the first Halo (although I wasn’t into it as much as some). Didn’t really get into the 2nd, but couldn’t play online since I just couldn’t update the game for some reason (so I traded it in). I also wanted a new 360 game since the last game I bought was Tales of Vesperia. I’ll decide soon whether I’ll keep or not, but I’ll probably keep. The only reason I’m not sure about keeping is because I’ll be buying MANY new games in Q1 2009.

As for my weekend, I didn’t really get out much. I did pick up Halo 3 at Target on Friday. Last week on Wednesday, I spotted Valkyria Chronicles for $30 new at my Wal-Mart (it was YMMV). Although I already owned it, I considered picking it up for a CAG and selling it to one of them (for what I paid + shipping cost), but I have a feeling they sold out.

That’s all I have to say now. I got another blog in the planning stages right now and should be posted in the not so distant future.

Here's an idea about your stress, stop spending so much time on the interwebs.
Multiple Forums? Really? Is that absolutely necessary?
No wonder your perception of people is so warped.
You spend all day talking to internet people, which aren't the same as real people.
The internet is the cesspool of the best of the worst of the human race, that's right i said it.

More adventurous? I can relate, but about year ago. not anymore.

I'm still pretty damn safe in terms of being adventurous but I don't let anything restrain me in terms of what I do. I'm not careless or foolish in what I do, but I don't hold myself back anymore.

Just get out of your comfort zone while not being stupid about it. That's easy to say, but not easy to do.

Just make sure you don't stay the way you are/feel, ur going to hate your life pretty quickly.

Forums are a bitch, especially when you get people who love to argue. Just take a break for a day, no one will flip if you don't post. (No offense)

Halo 3, while not the greatest game ever is a solid thing to have on your shelf. I'm not too much a fan as it's mostly spray while walking forward then melee, whoever does it first wins, but its' still fun regardless.

Should have went to a bar instead.

@ PhrostByte, someone once told me I should bring my DS and/or PSP to a bar, kind of like that's what I normally do for a social gathering. Knowing me, I probably would.

I hated Halo 3 online. It was so boring and too many little girls quitting because they're losing.

You lack a wingman Mana. You'd be more adventurous if you had someone you trust to watch you back or get you to try stuff you normally wouldn't.

I kind of want Halo 3 if it's getting that cheap. Halo 1 was good. 2 was kind of lame, but getting to try the multiplayer might be fun.

Also I thought of a way you could eliminate both your unemployment and aversion to strip clubs. That's all I'm gonna say.

I think zenprime is right. you need someone to show you "around town" or whatever.

So I guess I can't recommend CoD: WatW 360 either so you can play with the best CAG Gaming Group on the site, the 360 CoD CAG's then?

I must see if my WM's have VC for $30. There is a CAG Halo group on here, just PM mod Wubb about it and send a friend request to CAGHalo. They usually play on Tuesday's, although they aren't as organized as your PSN group or the 360 CoD CAG's.

@ MSUHitman, I actually wanted to be apart of CAG Halo 3 a while ago, but didn't see a deal and didn't have much $$$ at the time.

As for WaW, chances of me buying it aren't very likely though, on any platform (partially because I'm just not a fan of WWII setting).

VC for $30 is the deal of the week, I love that game...pure awesomeness to pick it up for someone that doesn't have it yet.

I wish posting on the internet was the biggest stress in my life.

There must be nothing to do where you live.
The Mana Knight's Avatar
@ yohsh, there isn't. That's why young people LOVE to leave my hometown and never come back. Almost everyone I knew from high school has moved far away from my hometown and never wants to come back. I'm still stuck there for now.

Jesus Christ.

-Sorry, I just don't want swearing in the blog.
I heard alcohol-buzzed lap dances help to lessen stress.
