Gamestop's (drug) problem?

So our site tabulates the phrases used in google that brings people to our site. While most were pretty boring, number nine today was very interesting:

"Do you get piss tested if you work at gamestop"

Don't believe me? Do a search on the phrase, we are number eight.

Note the use of the term, "piss tested' rather than the denotative term, "drug tested".

For those seeking an answer to the question, my local manger states that they will test if employees appear "sluggish or inebriated". He added that any hesitancy to the "you''d pass a drug test?" question used in a initial job interview will result in peeing in the cup. In all, it's up the discretion of the district manager.

Have you ever worked at a game store? You need a little something to get you through the day. I only had caffeine and sugar. Crazy customers, bosses that will stab you in the back, dumbass co-workers, it is hell on earth. Oh yeah and corporate offices pimping you out.

It's after you started working there is when you'll start doing drugs.

Sounds pretty standard to me. A lot of places that employ teens, move through large amounts of seasonal workers, or depend on temp agencies use drugs testing agencies.

I never had a job where I was tested for drugs but my brother had too when he got a job at a organic supermarket.

Target did a urine drug test when they hired me. Safeway also did a drug test, but it was basically putting a q-tip in my mouth for like five minutes and checking if it changed colours or something. Working at a game store is no different than any other retail job, so yea, it's hell on Earth.

They only test the "sluggish" Gamestop employees?

Ha.

Gamestop don't test part time employees at all, only management. They also mostly test those seeking a management position from outside the company. But, they can still test anyone they want if you act suspicious.

dude I would LOVE to hesitate at the question just so I could ace the drug test and rub it in their faces. I might even stumble a step or two. Oh don't let me slur a heavy vowel or two.
