"Microsoft denies holding meetings in Home." Is this even News?!

So I opened up my ECA newsletter this morning, hoping to find something out about the 1up layoffs (thankfully, the CAGblogs gave me more info then anyone else; thanks guys!) and what do I see under the headlines?
"Microsoft will not be using Home."
Apparently, there were rumors that Microsoft was planning on holding company meetings on Sony Home, and of course Microsoft denied the rumors. I file this news pretty deep in the "no shit" drawer. I mean how does a rumor like that even get started?! Why would Microsoft use their competitor's crippled product when they make at least a dozen other things that make teleconferencing a thousand times more efficient. I kinda think it's funny that Microsoft was nice enough to politely deny it, instead of saying "what the hell is wrong with you people?! Will you believe anything?! Hey, I hear that Sony is planning on using A Kingdom for Keflings to conduct board meetings. Publish that!" Cuz that's what I would do.
