Let me first start off with a little about me since this is my first post on CAG. I'm a college student in MA going into my final semester for my Bachelor's (in Political Science). Music is kind of a big thing in my life. I have over 900's easily, which is nice too because I have a weekly radio show in my town that I use them in. My game collection is pretty big as well, but lately I've been contemplating cutting down on it (which I will probably re-visit here later). But anyways to what I meant to write about...
Since vacation has started I've made it my priority to try and tackle my backlog. It's huge because of CAG deals and Goozex. I think I'm in the 90's for the number of games in my backlog sadly. Games in the works/conquered so far since Christmas... Completed: Castlevania: Circle of the Moon - Great game. The first Castlevania game I've played. Thing is I have Dracula X Chronicles and Symphony of the Night in my backlog as well. I can't wait to play the others. Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow - Great as well, but not even close to CotM to me. I started it will I was in Long Island visiting family and I beat it in one sitting (4 hours later) Luminous Arc - first game I bought with my DS, but I never got around to finishing it. I bought the second one and decided to just sit down and beat the last 7 chapters I had left with this. The game was easy until the end. The last boss fight was hard though. That's okay too, but I had some serious deja vu because it reminded me of the Wiegraf battle in FFT the first time through when I was under the appropriate level. I sat there for an hour at least with Ramza as a Squire/Chemist moving back and forth raising my speed and healing with X-potions every turn until I had 5 moves over his one. I rose my attack up as well so each single handed weapon I had did the max damage when I attacked. While now I could look online and find that out, I had to figure it out on my own when I played through when it was first released. Lol, then I had to show my friends and help them. Fallout 3 (360) - Loved the game (coming from someone who enjoyed the original Fallouts on the PC and Bethesda's projects such as Elder Scrolls) Prince of Persia (360) - Wasn't a fan when Sands of Time came out and avoided WW and TT because of it. I liked the art style of this one though so I gave it a try. It wasn't that bad to me, but I went in with little expectations. Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway (360) - first Brothers in Arms game for me, but I really enjoyed it a lot. I really don't understand why so many people bitched and moaned about this game when it was under the $20 range on CAG. Dark Sector (360) - Not really too enjoyable. It got better once you got the cloak and deflect powers. Then it was kind of like I was playing Metal Gear Solid except for instead of sneaking up on someone and choking them out (or using CQC), I would stealth/deflect and then do a finisher. King Kong - Sure it was easy points, but really not that enjoyable to me. Naruto: Rise of the Ninja - Loved it even though I've never watched the series. I could have easily beat the game in 4-5 hours, but I spent longer because I really enjoyed the ramen delivery, hide and seek, and other side quest sort of things. Although I heard Broken Bond isn't as great, I'm looking forward to playing it. In the works Gears of War - didn't really like the controls at first, but now I love the game. Bullet Witch - hate the game but I'm one level away from completing it. Even though I paid very little for it, I still am a little sour about it. Resistance: Fall of Man - halfway through with a friend and I'm really not understanding what is too great about it. I haven't played the multiplayer, but campaign-wise it's nothing too special to me. I want to like it as much as people preach it up to me, but I just feel a little bored with it. Why bother to compare it to Gears of War as well? They shouldn't be, but if I had to choose Gears easily beats Resistance. It has nothing to do with console wars or anything either, because I own them all. GTA4 - I like it, but I've developed a bad habit of not finishing GTA games since GTA3. Izuna - love the game, but it's sidelined for now due to me trying to beat console games while I have the time at home. Dead Space - Slowly going through it. Awesome game though. Let me know what you think. Thanks for taking the time to read as well. |

Man, 2 Castlevanias in one winter break? I can't do that; I get burned out. 1 Castlevania a year for me...maybe 2 if I space them out.

I would have played the PSP Castlevania if I had a memory stick on me at the time. I got a PSP for Christmas, but I couldn't save anything because my memory stick hadn't arrived yet. >_<
About SoT - I will admit that I probably didn't give it a fair chance, but I just remember being bored with it. After playing the new one, I have decided that when I start going through my Gamecube backlog that I will give it another try. |

It's humorous, it's puzzling and it's obvious that the designers made everything so that you can finish it. There's the time power and every save point tells you (in flashes) where to go next. You could break for a month and come back with a helping hand.
Heavily urged. PSP w/o a mem stick? what version did you get? |

I got the God of War Red PSP (2000). I really was excited about the 3000 model and I was gonna get it until I found out about the issue caused by the new hardware.
I have 8 games for it though, and the only thing I've really played has been DJ MAX Portable 2 and Black Square. |

Thanks. I finished Dead Space and pretty much loved the game. The ending bothered me a little, but I won't give it away. Let me know what you think after you get done with it.
