My Lunch for Today: Braum's, the God Tier of Fast Food

I always see you West Coaster's bragging about your In-and-Outs and the like, so I thought it was high time our little Midwest fast food joint got some recognition.
It's home to some of the most unhealthy food in the midwest. Take my lunch today for example. I had the 1/3 pound burger with fries and an iced tea. The burger itself contained 800 calories and 50 grams of fat, but it was damned good. If you are ever in Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri, or Arkansas, you have to give Braum's a shot. I miss In N Out, great burgers for a reasonable price. Now I'm stuck in Alaska with no real decent places to eat compared to before.

I love Braum's. Nothing beats a Bag of Burgers for $5.55.

You haven't lived until you've had a "Double Gyro Burger w/ Cheese". In case you haven't figured it out, it's 2 quarter pound beef patties and a couple of slices of American cheese, topped with a heaping bandful of Gyros meat. That right there is good eatin'.
Sadly, I've only been able to find them in the various carryout/sub/"Arab" stores in Chicago (I dont use "Arab" as a racist term, it's just what people call the stores). |
