So, What IS Up With TMK (Too Few Blog Entries)? |

Most people have probably noticed I have not been writing very many blogs as of recent. Since I have some time today, I decided to give everyone a small update as to what has been going on and why I haven't been blogging much as of recent.
The main reason I have not blogged much as of recent is because I've been very occupied with CAG Killzone 2 Nights/Clan. Ever since I got Killzone 2 on Friday (2/27/09), I've been having to see who wants to be a member of the CAG clan, enter their names into the clan to invite them, then keep track at times to see if they accepted. Since CAG has two clans currently, hardcore and casual, that doubles my workload in a way. I will watch everyone who signs up in the thread for a clan, whether it be casual or hardcore. If they sign-up in the casual clan, I send them an invite. If they sign-up for the hardcore clan, I have to tell a hardcore clan leader/officer to send the invite for me. Well, unfortunately I found out the clan size limit was 64, making things even more difficult for me. In ways I wish I knew this ahead of time (I was hoping it was over 100 like Resistance games) because I would have divided the casual clans right from the get go in East and West. Currently I'm just sticking to one clan and if someone doesn't accept their invite in 5-7 days, I revoke it and send it to someone else on the waiting list. But since the waiting list is around 30 now, I'll probably have another clan created, just haven't decided how I will do it yet. In ways I hate having multiple clans because that only makes things harder on me (keeping track of all clans) and I have a feeling that around 50% or more people probably won't touch the game in a month or so (just like every game, most people move onto something else), making the clan size okay. I'll probably just toss everyone from the waiting list into another casual clan, but will not happen until I fill up the first casual clan with members (zero pending invites). Clan management definitely keeps me busy, and now I'm in the process of trying to get into clan battles with other forums (such as PSU, Shoryuken, PSXExtreme, Neo GAF, and many more), for BOTH our CAG clans. Unfortunately I haven't had much luck, but I did tell Giant Bomb we'd be interested in a clan battle. If anyone from another forums wants to challenge the CAG clans, please contact me ASAP (I put email information in the CAG KZ2 Night/Clan thread). So along with clan management, I'm also pretty busy with game nights. We've been having CAG game nights for KZ2 on Monday (well, special game last week and tomorrow MIGHT be a battle between our clans), Thursday, and Saturday (which I hosted and put together). There will be a CAGCast game tonight, but thankfully I do not have to host that. All these game nights are definitely wearing me out (on top of this, I'm still hosting MotorStorm: PR and R2 on Tuesday/Wednesday), but that's fine. I'm more than willing to cut back on sleep and other things just to make CAG nights work (I really want to get as many people involved with them as possible). However, taking the time has been worth it, since our KZ2 nights have been an overwhelmingly huge success, maxing out at 32 people a bunch of times. Other video game related news, I'm just playing a lot of Star Ocean: The Last Hope In non-video game related news, the weather was really nice late last week. Cold weather makes me want to stay inside all day and not go out unless I have to. The nice weather starting on Thursday made me more active. On Friday I took a decent length bike ride around my area (I do enjoy bike riding a lot). I also took the longest drive on my own too on Friday. On Saturday, I decided to drive over to my best friend's apartment and spend some time with him. My best friend said a while ago he could never imagine the day I'd drive to his place on my own(as many of you know, I was late in getting my driver's license and struggled to get comfortable with driving unlike others) and that's what I did. It was the first time I met his son (he's around 1 1/2 years old). It was funny because his son at first kind of starred at me (didn't know who I was), but he later he started to really like me because he kept sticking close to me, wanting me to play with him a little (which I did), and so on. It was funny because my friend was trying to get him away by playing his favorite TV show or something (where he won't even pay attention to his Daddy anymore when its playing), but even that couldn't pull him away from where I was (he just found me more interesting than it). I also played a little Karaoke video games too at my friend's place, and his son definitely enjoyed watching that. I dunno, I just have some thing with kids, because I'm usually too well liked by kids (I was in the same situation when around many 2nd cousins). Makes me really wish I could be a father one day, but we'll see. Once my friend's son went to sleep, we just played some games and so on (I brought over my 360 HDD to his place also, played some of his games to rack up my gamerscore a little, lol). I also wanted to come by to see his brand new HDTV he got (he finally got one, which was an LG, like me. Lol, he tends to follow what I buy a lot). Sucks today is raining, but overall my weekend was a bit more fun (hope the weather is warm again). As for what I'm going to do this week, I honestly have no idea. Since its looking to get cold again, I'll probably spend the majority of my time inside. I am glad that I'm getting much more comfortable with driving around and starting to feel I can drive just about everywhere (despite some small issues with backing up and changing lanes). For sure I'll play Star Ocean: The Last Hope, and deal with Killzone 2 clan management and game nights. I'm probably going to see if I have any more old clothes or other things lying around so I can donate tons more stuff to Goodwill soon. I'm a tad frozen with job searching since no new jobs have been posted, and haven't gotten any calls/messages back lately (some I tried contacting, but still got no response). Things aren't looking good in that regard, which is why I honestly don't want to talk about it. I really hope to get back together with another old friend, but ever since I called him at a bad time, we haven't been getting on the right track re-uniting (so it might be best we never talk again). If anyone has ideas on what I could do this weekend (which don't relate to drinking or getting laid), you can let me know and I'll keep it on my mind (no guarantee I'll do it though). I'd love to see some movies, but right now I'm not in the mood to spend money. All right, that's all I have to say. Mostly just a boring blog entry. Oh yeah, here was the KZ2 game rankings yesterday afternoon during a match (I ranked at the top): ![]() EDIT: Please understand this is not intended to be an interesting blog post, just a boring one kind of like a mini journal as to what is going on. Every once in a while I will write these. |

@ ChiefsFan21, still only Lieutenant I believe. I'm close to ranking up one more level. I don't have as much time to play since I'm doing most clan management.
@ JEKKI, I love it. |
