And a decent deal on it, too. Too lazy to take pictures, but you all know what it looks like by now.
$200 off of Craigslist for the system, boxed with everything that would come with a normal retail unit, and:
-extra remote and nunchuck ($60 MSRP)
-Super Smash Brothers Brawl ($50 MSRP)
-Prince of Persia: Rival Swords (which now goes for like $20)
Well, I already bought SSBB from a lightening deal on Amazon, and intend on trading in both games towards the 40% (50% with Edge)
that Gamestop is having right now, which will be about $40 in credit not counting the other games I throw in with them. Minus the cost of the extra controllers and that's about $100 for the system when all is said and done, about as much as I wanted to pay. The credit will go towards games I want, and I'll probably sell or get rid of my Gamecube to take off the cost (all $5 that I'll get for it), along with the GC component cables and Gameboy Player.
I'm happy enough, and already started RE4: Wii Edition which I got off Amazon for $10 new. Controls take some getting used to, but I'm already loving them.
Stopped by Gamestop on my way home to get some component cables, naively forgetting that the 1st-party cables are $35 Shaq-fuing dollars. Times like these I'm extra glad to be a CAG and know about Monoprice.com.
