Breakin' my New Years Resolution

I had a few New Years resolutions that I was hoping to stick to. One that I continually have is to loose weight (never seems to happen). The other was to hold off on buying games until I finish my backlog.

Well, I broke that resolution shortly after the New Year. At least I've been a good CAG and only picked up games for cheap. Each of the games I have picked up since the beginning of the year have been around or below $20. I picked up Ninja Gaiden 2 and Ninja Gaiden Dragon Sword from Best Buy for $10 each. I bought World of Goo from Steam when it was on sale for $5. I traded in Super Smash Brothers Brawl and along with some credit got Left 4 Dead for around $20. And, thanks to my Indiana CAGs I picked up Tomb Raider Underworld (TRU) on clearance from Target for $16.

I will be breaking the resolution again this weekend, but it's for a good reason. I'm have been holding off playing TRU until I could play Tomb Raider Anniversary. I was delighted to see it on the list of games for the Gamestop Gamedays sale. So, I will be picking up another game this weekend (hopefully for $10) and adding to my backlog once more. I love video games.

You are a bad, bad man.

You know killed my urge to buy games? (besides having a backlog) Having my Xbox360 break. Worked like a charm. Buying a game now feels like I'm wasting money. Still, with the deals you're getting I guess once can't complain
