What's Wrong?

Somethings been on my mind recently. Theres a couple of things I want, all fairly cheap.
Fable 2 Oblivion Game of the Year Edition Eternal Sonata Oldboy Ichi The Killer All items i've wanted for a while now. I can easily get them as they all pretty cheap. But I just don't want to order them. I don't know what it is. And its pretty frustrating.. It could be the fact that I actually have to pay for them, but it's not like getting them will break the bank and i've got nothing better to buy. I'm a keen gamer too and i've owned all three games before and they're all great. (sold them all for a variety of different reasons - long story). So it's not that i'm losing interest in video games either.. What should I do? dumb question I know, as I can guess what the answers will be. Has anything similar happened to anyone else? |

You might have gotten bored of the games, it happens. I've sold stuff and regretted it later but I just try to play other games to keep my mind off it to prevent from buying them again. Just be selective if you're wanting to re purchase those games. Instead of buying all of them again just get the one you miss the most. On a side note, Oldboy and Ichi are both awesome films!

You might not actually want them... don't play games just because you think you would like them. Sometimes I get devoted to my own taste too. I ended up playing games like Suikoden III just because they were "my type" even though I wasn't having fun. When you see a game that you would easily pay $59.99 for, you've found a game worth buying. The real test is finding a game you'd pay full price for, and then waiting until it's $20-30.

Sounds to me like you've gotten burned out on a certain genre of gaming and want to experience a more open climate (I gather this based on the two Bethesda games). Have you been playing a lot of third person shooters, FPSs or action heavy (but linear) games lately? I know for me, that is usually when I go to bust out Oblivion and need some open world, RPG game play.

Yeah, pretty much my entire 360 collection is first person shooters. I think I just don't like spending money

You should try getting the games from CAG's very own trading forums! I've seen those games many times on people's trade lists.
Also, you should just buy Oldboy, cause it is awesome. |

I ordered Fable 2 off play.com earlier for £17.99. I thought screw it i'm just being stupid. If I want the game and I have the money then whats stopping me?
As long as I don't flip out and send aload of money unnecessarily on games i'm okay. I went also to order Oldboy and Ichi the Killer but they've both gone out of stock on Amazon and Play.com so i'll have to wait for those. |
