Bootleg Castlevania and Street Fighter IV

As mentioned a couple of weeks ago, I recently got a DS and ordered Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia & Chrono Trigger for my new Colbalt DS. However, being screwed over Hong Kong retailers has left me feeling skeptical. Even more so, the listing for the 2 games on eBay were taken off.

Oh Shit Son!

So.....I bought the 2 games @ Gamestop. On Saturday, Order of Ecclesia had arrived from Hong Kong. My suspicions were right: BOOTLEG!!!

Not only was the game bootleg, it had an "E" rating, the game cover art was fake and printed on regular paper, the instruction manual didn't tell you HOW to play the game, but WHAT the game is about and the cartridge cover art was a sham. However, the game played like the original. Even if the game was a bootleg, you couldn't tell the difference when you play it. Because the seller is no longer listed on eBay, I am now stuck with a bootleg copy of the game, which works anyway.

I don't want it so if any CAG out there wants it, lemme know. I won't even charge you for it.

Justin Wong has won the Street Fighter IV National Tournament hosted by Gamestop but Daigo Umehara has the International Title. I will never be THAT good as I only have a 40-45% win rate.

Furthermore, I am thinking about selling Street Fighter IV either on the PS3 or 360. I have a Ryu controller for the PS3 and a Chun-Li on the 360 version. It's hard when you have both versions of the game and you can only play one at a time. I don't know how much I would sell the package for but if anyone is interested, lemme know.

Bootlegs suck for collection purposes but just for playing they are fine I suppose.

I bought my mom a DS with a bunch of games last year and was to cheap to buy a real Tetris DS since they are impossible to find. I got her a bootleg and she was none the wiser and never had any troubles out of it. I could tell it was a fake but she had no idea.

You should have a contest and give away your fake copy or just randomly choose a number and that reply gets it.

I'm sure you've already looked into this, but even if the person is no longer a registered user on ebay, you can still file a "significantly not as described" claim through paypal.

I have been thinking about selling the 360 version but Im still on the fence about it. I would sell the game itself for 45. Depending on if the 360 gets anymore fighting games, I may or may not keep the chunli fightpad.
