Seriously, what would posses someone to do such things. Sure the economy is not doing so hot, but still, your little thrill causes such unpleasant emotions in a person. I am usually a cool-headed guy, but just getting around $1500-2000 worth of stuff stolen is just not cool. My biggest issue is my laptop, have a bunch of personal info on there and just a lot of files that I didn't back up. Which means those files are either extremely hard to find now or just plain gone. Also lost a lot of game data (my pokemans......noooo!), around 300+ hours of gaming gone.

Story goes, went on vacation with my family. @nd day there, went to go visit a aunt and uncle that I haven't seen in a while. We park in a parking garage, went to go eat at a mall. Come back to the car and then went driving around. About 4 hours later, my sister wants something from her bag and she freaks out saying her and my bag is gone. We check everywhere, both our bags are gone. Thing is, no glass shatter or doors pried open. Anyway, we go back to the parking garage of where we parked to see if there are any security cameras/security guards. No luck on the cameras and guards can't do much since whoever took our stuff is most likely long gone now. Filed a police report and most likely will not recover lost items. So much RAAAGGEE! after that. The vacation just blew ass after that and I just wanted to go home asap. Now I gotta go and get another computer since the one I'm using is my parents. Not a big fan of spending money right now (especially $500+) since my bill this month is a bit high, maybe a lowball sale for me soon...

The only good thing (not really) out of this is I get a new computer since I've been wanting a new one. So, computer shopping tomorrow. I'm probably going to hold out on replacing the other stolen items for now.

For those that care, what was stolen...

-Laptop, charger, and logitech mouse that has been going strong for 4 years now
-Phat PSP with CF, charger, Lumines, Crazy Taxi Fare Wars (new, can't even try it out), Final Fantasy VII Crisis Core, DJ Max Fever, and memory card with a buttload of game data
-Navy Blue DS Lite from overseas, charger, Pokemon Diamond/Emerald (nooo...), Ninjatown (new also, was looking forward to try it out), Big Brain Academy
-Sony camera, charger, and a new memory card
-some magazines, 3 PCAT books (couldn't even study if I wanted too), phone charger, ipod charger , and my glasses.

That sucks. My car was broken into about a week or two after spring break, and thus I lost nearly half of my 360 collection. I had just picked up Psychonauts too and was really excited to play through it again. Those whores...

I'm so sorry to hear about your loss, and how your vacation was ruined. But at least you and your sister are safe.

you know I can't stand these damn theives, think they can just go and take people stuff. Half the shit they aren't going to use and won't hardly get that much money for... its not even worth it. In the past year, I've had my car broken into 3 times, (same person I believe). Took my radio, job laptop (wihch was found via computrace) CDs, my camera (x's 2) its rediculous. I don't like it when people say... oh they're stealing because its a bad economy - which I saw is bullshit, they're stealing because they're useless bastards, that have nothing else to do, and refuse to do better w/ their lives. If they think that stealing another man's belongings is going to make their life better, then they're sadly mistaken.

No offense since you did lost stuff but it seems off. No signs of a break in to your car and you don't notice the bags are gone for 4 hours of being in the car? Did you not lock it or did you perhaps lose or forget then when you went to eat?

That's horrible and I feel for you. I have had only a few thing stolen over the years and it sucks majorly.

Biggest regret I have over the last 8 months is the night I had my window open and I heard people effing around in front of the houses. Thought it was just one of the neighbor kids or people being loud at like 3:30 am. I just turned up my music and ignored. Next morning found out it was supposedly a guy and a girl going up and down the streets breaking into cars. I just wish I saw it and gone outside after calling the cops. They would've never seen what hit them I am sure if I came flying out from my backyard of my house in the dark.

One upside is my car had nothing of value and they probably spent 30 minutes digging through it. All they found was my soiled disgusted wrestling uniforms/outfits and workout clothes. It did make me happy that they apparently went through all my gym bags looking for stuff and had to go through it all.
