Too Human

I just finished up Too Human. I have to say, I am definitely thinking of asking Denis Dyack for my $10 back. Seriously though, it was a very weak game. It shows that it was originally intended for the Gamecube. Even if it had been a Gamecube title, it didn't have anywhere near the chops.
Too Human had an interesting idea, and just failed horribly in execution. I know I am about a year late, but I really don't see how Silicon Knights could possibly crank out two more sequels. So if you haven't picked up Too Human -- even at $10 its really too much. |

Yeah, i'll probably never pick this one up and to think I was so hyped for this game before it came out. I've seen it for for £4.99 and still didn't even get it.

What's with all this hating on Too Human here at CAG all the time? I played the demo and it seemed like a fun lil dungeon crawler. I'd happily take this game off your hands for $10.

I felt it was worth the $10. I'd be annoyed if I paid over $20 for it given some of its inherent problems, but almost everything else was manageable. It would be nice if they made a sequel and ironed out the bugs (and lengthened the game somewhat) but who knows if that will ever happen.

I paid full price for this game, and I guess I got my money out of it. It was crap solo, but w/ a friend it was a bit more bearable.

I had it pre ordered and liked it. I thought it had its issues but other then that was not a bad game. Would be nice for them to make a patch where they fix some of them or some DLC.

That is the shame of Too Human, it was Human in a way, full of so much potential. But ultimately it fell short in every way. The biggest thing was the Valkyrie, the game was maybe 5 hours without waiting for it to drag your body around.

I dont know when you pay 10 for any game you are going to get what you pay for. Lets be honest how many highly rated games on any current system hit the 10 dollar mark? I think your expectations are to high for this game.
Also you knew what you were getting into since you picked up for 10 you have already heard alot of the feedback from it so you shouldnt be surprised at all what type of game it is. |
