I obtained Crackdown this weekend thanks to an EB 25% off used games coupon I got in my email.
After completing GTA IV I have to say CrackDown holds up REALLY REALLY well and is addictive and fun. GO PICK THIS UP NOW, IT IS SOOOOO CHEAP. It is a what if GTA starred a super-hero kinda game where basically you can leap over tall buildings, kick criminals a half mile, and throw cars into the sunset. What a great time for a great price. |

Not to mention the multiplayer. The only drawback is that story based achievements will only unlock for the host of the game (if you are into achievements).

One of my favorite games for the 360 and one of the most addictive games I've ever played. Who thought collecting orbs would be so much fun?
Man, I had that humming orb sound stuck in my head for weeks while playing through single-player. |

Crackdown was pretty awesome. Collecting orbs was okay, I hated the races though. And driving was pretty much worthless once you were powered up to a point where you could just run and jump everywhere. It desperately needed some new weapons after a while, though, and I wasn't about to pay $10 for a couple new ones and a bunch of new races I'd never play.
Never tried multiplayer, maybe we can hook up online and clean up the town! |

After you maxed out your character, which only took maybe a weekend to do, it was kinda meh.

You maxed out in a weekend? That's a lot of play. I've just gotten 3stars in agility and strength.
Either way it's so cheap it doesn't matter if it only lasts you 8-10 hours. I'd be interested in hooking up with you jrutz, since everyone raves about how good it is co-op. |
