I graduated on possibly the hottest day of the shaq-fuing year nearly a month ago. I still haven't gotten rid of that sunburn.
I was "let go" from my summer job earlier that week. I was initially distraught, panicked, but eventually let go and decided it was best to move away further away from campus into town to look for work.
Twenty-two applications and still no luck. Granted, I spent alot of my time packing and moving.
With a degree in mathematics from the Evergreen State College, a liberal arts school, I hadn't imagined I'd have a hard time finding work. I didn't expect employers to exactly beat down my door drag me off to work in their palaces of awesome either.
So i've been unemployed for a month now, but i'll be set until the end of August. It's not really the finances that are hurting me, it's that the applications never even seem to make it to their destination. I've only received two rejection letters, while the rest never bother to confirm...

Hi this is my first blog on CAG but I've been around for alittle bit over a year and I've decided to finally state my thoughts and feeling about stuff. First I just to say I'm looking for people who like to play R6V2, Guitar Hero 3, and even Rock Band for the 360 online. The one thing that makes it the hardest for me to make a blog, is coming up with a title for it. If I put something like "New Blog" or "Just Another Blog" like I always used to, it makes it seem like this one has nothing interesting to call its own; something that hasn't been mentioned before. It always has to be exact; it has to pertain to how i'm feeling and what's happened to me recently.That's why I try to give each blog it's own name.

"Forze Del Male" is a song from the Kingdom Hearts soundtrack. Not knowing the language, I can't pinpoint exactly what it means. However, this song is the song that plays when you fight Ansem towards the end of the game. So looking at the words "Forze", "Del", and "Male", Forze has a minor resemblance to the word "Force," and "Del" means "of" in Spanish, and "Male" sounds like "Mal," another Spanish word, that means "bad"...

hi, folks i poked in to check out CAG 2.0 and i find a blogging section..neat! most of you who may read this don't know who i am..that's okay cause i'm just one of those lurkers that you hear about, i've been a registered member for YEARS and have barely posted anything on this website...not that i wouldnt but i guess i just sniff around for the deals, listen to the podcasts and go on my merry way. not very sociable i guess .. sorry about that

a bit about me. i'm a 31 y/o woman of color (!!!) from suburban philadelphia, pa. been a gamer since late 80's when my grandparents bought my younger brother and i an NES with tetris for me, and super mario brothers for him...guess who got more time on the console

since then i've become an avid RPG/Strat/SIM quirky game junkie...my main videogame fandoms are Final Fantasy, Suikoden and harvest moon, however the game i'd been playing the most when i do play at all has been Persona 3...that is the shee-ii-it!...

Opeth is a progressive death metal band from Gothenburg, Sweden. Their signature sound includes very heavy sections of music, mixed with quiet, acoustic interludes. I am impressed with the few songs that Harmonix showed in their pre-release show of Rock Band 2. I am a huge fan of System of a Down. And the best of all is that ALL my downloaded songs will work on RB2. I can't wait to play the drums on Chop Suey. Which brings me to the question?
How many of you have finished the drum solo tour with the drums on expert? I keep getting stuck in The Outlaws song, it just gets too long after a while.

The news has broken that Capcom's 1942 remake will be coming out on XBLA July 23 and PSN the following day.

I'm definitely looking forward to playing the game as much as anybody, but this news brings a much bigger question to mind: Where the hell is Bionic Commando Rearmed? This remake was originally supposed to be out in May, but was put on short-term delay because of some problems at the last minute. Two months later, it seems all but a certainly that August will be the earliest that we can see its release. Any bets you want to make on when it'll actually be released?

Wanna know why? God Damn Vista on my main PC!!! It has been pissing me off ever since I installed it the first time...

Here's the back story...
I did a full format from XP to Vista about 6 months ago and installed Vista 32bit. I was like this is great no issues and yes my computer is way more than enough to run it.
after a couple months it started acting funny like random freezes and had to hard reboot each time it happened. So I checked all of my drivers and reinstalled all of them again/updated. Still had the issue, so I did a full reformat and reinstalled Vista AGAIN!!!

Low and behold it worked fine with no lockups after the second install, go figure?
Then during the second install Service Pack 1 came out, yeppie!!!!!!
Not really if screwed my shit up again!
After the SP1 install it rebooted and would not go into windows all the way. It said something about the NVdisplay driver...

First off I am the Mario Kart King of the OTT and if anyone has a problem with that we can settle it on the track.

Anyway, I'm completely addicted to Mario Kart Wii and have decided to go for 3 stars in all cups. If I achieve this noble goal I will get 3 stars by my name in online play.

Currently I have Mirror mode and 150cc completed and need need about 5 or 6 more cups between 50 and 100cc. Those lesser cups should be no match for my awesome skill now. It's just a matter of taking the time to play the cups.

Once I 3 star everything I plan to start a new license using a kart and manual steering and try to win every cup using that setup. Right now I'm using a bike and automatic steering.

Played a bit of online Monday evening with the CAG crew and gained a few VR points. I think I'll be able to crack 8K now.

If anybody has a favorite character/kart combo to use please leave me a comment with...

IGN recently put up a walk through of banjo kazooie nuts and bolts. The game developer shows off 4 minutes of the new banjo game. I was surprised by the video because Rare showed off more of the platforming this time and I thought it was amazing. He starts off the video at Banjo's hut from the first 2 games which was great and reminded me how much I liked the first 2. I was worried that this might just be a building game where you collect parts to build vehicles but its not. This is a true platformer and you can tell. You still collect jiggies and you still use them to unlock different worlds. The game looks like a actual sequel to the other games and not just a cart building game. Now on to the motion control for the game. It has been rumored that Microsoft will come out with a Wii like controller and this game will use it. In the video the developer makes some hints that he is using a motion controller. At one point when talking about kazooie's wrench he says "you grab the wrench...

This video is 1 hour. The remaining 25% of it is 100% PURE AWKWARDNESS. I thought that I was kind of a nerd, but apparently I can't hold a candle to some of these guys. So, where to start? Well I'm NotPotter, I'm from a little town called Wellingborough in the UK, I have recently (literally today) graduated and I now have a Ba(Hons) in Education Studies & History for all it's worth. I own an Xbox 360, PS3 & a DS and I've currently been playing through Forza 2 & COD4, although I am yet to even bother with the single player campaign, despite owning it from launch.

The reason why I decided to start this blog? Well, I'm currently awaiting the return of my 4th xbox, despite not actually receiving the RRoD, so I'm pretty bored at the moment. Microsoft managed to cock up the whole process and my 3rd return came back in a worse state than which I sent it in, and then when I rang up to get it re-collected, the coffin didn't turn up. Although I have got a wireless headset out of it, it's still really quite irritating....
