i've been playing fifa 08 a lot recently...i played a bit a when it first came out..but i got busy and dint really have the time..since i started playing again..my record is a pretty solid 66-44...pm me if you wanna have a couple of games sometime...

on another note...soul caliber 4 at the end of the month...seems pretty awesome to me...

it's pretty cool that CAG 2.0 gots a blog feature now...

Couple of questions.

1- Is CAG on twitter? Why not? (insert Plurk, jaiku, brightkite, etc. as alternative.)
2- Is there CAG on iphone/mobile web? More web sites need to be like this. SlickWallet are both on mobile web which makes life easier when you are out and about.

It also pushes up the need to play Persona 3. I haven't really touched it yet outside of 1 1-2 hour sitdown some months ago. All the S.Link building with the limited time is intimidating for me, since I'm the type that doesn't like to miss stuff and would rather try to do (mostly) everything in one playthrough. Getting better at just trying to finish games, though.

Match 1 vs. Yoshi from Chicago playing Radioactive Man (0-1)

This was a very interesting match as I played Yoshi when he first started the game and didn't have a lot of cards during the Last Chance Qualifier at Pro Circuit Indianapolis 05. Now Yoshi, along with his friends from Chicago and southern Wisconsin making up Team Wiscago, have far surpassed me as a player/deckbuilder and I am now the pupil instead of the teacher.

I pretty much didn't have much of a chance in this game as his deck runs a character called Radioactive Man on turn 3 that when he gets +1/+1 counters makes my plot twists (or spell cards) cost 1 more to play. He then plays a card called Underground Movement, which sends that character to the concealed area, which is much harder to attack. He then plays a character on turn 5 that makes my characters larger, at the cost of not being able to stun (turn facedown) his characters during combat. I am unable to draw my card that allows me to attack...

Ok i a posted a blog about games that require hard drive installs and how 4 to 5 games can take up as much as half of your space if you have a 40 gig PS3 ...

To go a bit further, Usually EA games so far don't require an install. Burnout or COD4 on the PS3 don't need an install. Different developers take different routes. Honestly Sony gives developers to much freedom to decide on what to do. Sony would also never admit to saying their suppposed superior blu-ray drive actually reads slower than the inferior DVD in the xbox. Its honestly just newer Tech and of course, expensive. The PS3 in my opinion is not inferior in any way to the Xbox, it just has to do things a bit different.

Also, the DVD only reads at 8X in the ps3, so just putting games on DVD for the PS3 would...

So for my first blog entry I thought I would discuss what had been taking up most of my time during the month of June, preparing for the VS System World Championship at the Origins game convention in Columbus, OH.

For those that don't know, VS. System is a collectible card game produced by Upper Deck Entertainment that features Marvel, DC (although that license is up in the air now) and Hellboy (there was a Hellboy starter last winter) characters as you build a deck to take on your opponent. It is similar to Magic The Gathering, but it improves in all of the areas that Magic has problems in to provide a challenging, yet fun game. The goal is to reduce your opponents life, called endurance in the game, to or below zero (you do not auto lose when you reach zero endurance or run out of cards barring another effect.)

The game is just over 4 years old and has had 17 total expansions divided among the Marvel and DC licenses. The game originally was known for it's...

Ok, now obviously someone who drinks pee isn't in the best state of mind. When you add going into movie theatre stalls and cutting off the water so you can drink a young boy's pee? There is definetely some issues going on here. But don't worry he has a very valid excuse: "I like it because it makes me closer to them -- like I'm drinking their youth."

Man, I can't figure out why so many Japanese-wannabe RPG fans were fooled into liking Persona 3. Sorry, but I don't really like games where you only control 33% of what's going on at the time. Call me crazy, but I like to have control over my RPG characters.

All I have to say is: Hell yes, all over my ing face!

Now I just need NIS to announce Ar Tonelico 2 and I'll be in RPG heaven.

Well after having a boring 4th, i was excited to be going to AX 08. I went with a friend (fellow CAG alexi_666), we arrived there at 11ish, looking at all the cosplayers. It was fun. I laughed cause a couple of came wearing cardboard boxes with "Gundam" all over, i should of done that :P Right in the lobby i found some cool sonic cosplayers


after finally getting my badge from the registration area( that place was hot!), i went off to a lil room where i saw people playing Guilty Gear Accent Core, Guitar Hero 3, Rock Band, Arcana Heart, BlazBlu, and other crap (couldnt take pix). I watched for a bit and left.

I went back to the front and entered the convention hall. Right away i went to the AKSYS booth to try out BlazBlu. I enjoyed it, though i found it a lil too easy. I hope it comes to consoles. The Guilty...

It's been rumored for a while now that Persona 4 would be released in the US before year's end, and as it turns out, that's absolutely true. According to Siliconera, the game is slated for a December 9th release, and it's a 2-disc set with a soundtrack. My hopes and dreams for Persona 4:

1) More than one dungeon. I loved Persona 3, but there was a serious lack of variety. After playing through Persona 2 a month ago, I really want to see a return to that approach to dungeon crawling.

2) More school! Going to class was easily one of the most enjoyable parts of Persona 3 - it was a fantastic idea. I want to see more - more activities, more involvement, more ways to work on social links - whatever. Atlus has an awesome gameplay concept, so they need to milk it for all it's worth.

3) More music. Persona 3 had approximately 4 music tracks in the whole...

A while ago, I gave my DS to my younger sister as a going away to college gift. Soon after I bought a PSP slim, that I have been playing the hell out of. But with several recent game announcements (DamnyouChronoTrigger!) I figured I should get back on the DS bandwagon. I mentioned it to my wife in passing, and she was opposed. Now let me set up the story a bit.

I almost always preorder graphic novels, and new game releases on Amazon, so it's not strange for me to get 2-3 packages from UPS every week. Invariably it is a game or graphic novel. Now my backlog is pretty epic, and my bookshelves are full, so I knew that the Mrs. was going to protest. That is, until I appealed to her gamer side.

"But Honey, I have this gift card, and I was thinking we could get some casual games we would both enjoy."

Wow, I was suppose to put together a long blog post today, but ran out of time since I was busy all day. Basically, my day consisted of restoring two old computers back to manufacturer settings so I can get rid of them, mess with setting up a newer PC in my household, mow the grass, go out to quickly see a local relative who had her 50th birthday today, checked Gamestop really quick, and I had CoD4 night tonight. Still sore from yesterday unfortunately. Also, I made a video proving a game console I'm selling works, since I'm too freaking honest as a seller.

Hopefully tomorrow, I have time to actually write something good for the blog, so I apologize. Right now, I'm debating if I should buy a 360 game with the coupon 25% coupon at Gamestop, like Warriors Orochi ($34.99 used) or Ace Combat 6 (It's $49.99 used). In reality, I shouldn't buy either since it's unlikely I'll play them, due to still having too many games.

My family has a house in the hamptons and am i the only who hates the people there.Dont get me wrong some people are normal, the ones who live there all year long, but the rest are just snobby white people. Just wondoring if anyone runs into the same thing.

1. microsoft will reveal a new motion sensitive controller(newton)

2. there will be a playable demo of alan wake and it will be released later this year

3. 50$ price drop will officialy be announced and a new 60 gig sku

4. mii like avatars and a new 3d dashboard

5. karyoke game lips will be announced

6. more details on rockband 2(really hoping for some beatles songs)

7. a port of mgs4 will come to the 360

8. details on gta iv dlc (maybe whole cities like remakes of vice city or san andres)

9. Gears of war 2 will be playable and everyone will be blown away. One thing i'll bet on is that cliffy b will say bigger, better, and more bad ass at least 10 times during the showing.

Well, my sister moved out of the house...and took the big screen that I had my Wii and 360 hooked up to. I suppose I'll have to at least get the Wii hooked back up in my room...although my TV isn't HD.
