Can you really play MK 2v2 online? I know there's 2v2 but I never see video of it..
So if my friend gets MK and I get MK. We can play together and kick other players ass online right? or is it the same console only..

As most of you have probably heard (or experienced by now) that the PlayStation Network was attacked by hackers last Wednesday. As a safety precaution, Sony has taken down the service for an unknown period of time and is still offline. The hacking group Anonymous seems to have taken credit for the initial attack on their Facebook page. CVG posted this article talking about Anonymous's reasons for attacking the PlayStation Network (PSN) and their threats of the "worst is yet to come".

What I find most interesting is the timing of this attack. This week was the launching Portal 2, Mortal Kombat and Microsoft is having a free weekend of Xbox Live. Anonymous seems to have hit Sony at the perfect time to cause the most damage to their public image.

Gaming 4/16-4/22
3 Hours: Final Fantasy XII: Still just hanging out at the Balfonheim Port leveling up and buying new stuff. I am actually trying to walk to the next area, but there is this crazy dragon that usually wipes me out, when I do make it past him it's with my weaker characters so I can not get to far. If I buy everything in the the port and still can not make it past that area, I am probably just going to teleport to where I need to go.
1 1/2 Hours: Final Fantasy Tactics A2: Grimoire of the Rift: I have been failing at this game too. I can not seem to beat any of the available quests. If I fail at all of them, probably just going to have to buy everyone new weapons and armor to learn more abilities.

Pickups for the week: Final Fantasy IV: The Complete Collection: I think this is my favorite FF game, but...

The PSN network has been down since April 20th due to "Unknown Reasons", but the real season as been revealed just recently. Sony says that a external intrusion has been made to the PSN network and They pretty much pulled the plug on the whole network.

I can tell you exactly what happened and Sony was probably a month late finding out about this.

There was a new CFW released about a month ago that allowed CFW users, "hackers" if you will, to activate anything from the PSN store using the QA testing part of the PSN that is normally blocked off to regular users. This means if you could get your hands on a demo of the game you could activate it to the Full version by using this QA Site.

This also included DLC from what I understand so several people around the world were getting free content from the PSN store. People obviously were abusing it for some time and Sony probably heard about it a few days before the shutdown....

ok so what the is up with the psn. I have heard such rumors bout maybe its a hacker group called Anonymous, or that very soon we will have to pay for the right to play online, or even something bout the earthquakes in Japan maybe causing this issuse. One I doubt anything going on in Japan woulod have anything to do with the network in the usa(I"m not sure). If Sony is trying to make some way it so that we all have to pay for the right to play then us Ps3ers should just suck it up and freaking deal with it. I don't know bout you but I am sick of the lagging and the lag switching retards out there that have to cheat just to have an "edge" to win. I saw the homepage of joystiq (joystiq.com) and I was wondering, are we extended the same deal as the Europeans if we register with a European account?

Let me explain, basically in Europe if you buy PS+ (for a year) you are given 3 months free.
This deal was given to Americans before, but I missed it. IDK if this is even considered dishonest, as when the demo for Heavy Rain came out. websites were commanding us to register as a European user and throw that pizza in the oven (Yeah, that shit took me forever to download when I was in old apartment).

So, I don't think there should be a problem with registering a "European" account if I want PS+ as long as it gives me the content.


So my question is would it work if I registered a new account?

I'm about to receive a Portal 2 gift from a contest; but my computer isn't that strong to handle Portal 2. So I'm trading it for MK9 for PS3. But can you gift the Portal 2 to another person if you receive a gift invite or something? I won't accept the gift thing..

My brother uses Steam and were all new to this.

I have really been trying to stay away from them, however Portal 2 was a bright shiny object I could not avoid. Then today I could not resist Socom. Not necessarily because it was a really bright shiny object, but because I did like the demo and a combination of things lead to me walking out of BB with it for $15 + the $10 GC. Thank you Nebraska Furniture Mart for putting it on sale for $49 the week of release! Combine that with $25 in BB rewards expiring in 8 days and another $10 BB GC.

The thing that sucks is I am starting to enjoy Borderlands GOTY. Well, I guess multiplayer for those two are completely different - one is co-op and the other is king of the mountain. I do hope they get a decent camera adjustment soon for Socom, that was my biggest complaint.

Am I the only one drawn by these shiny objects? I still have to play some GT5 - thinking that may get permanently put into my 2nd PS3 to do those endurance races. I also have yet to finish Fallout...

After reading nearly all reviews online I decided to purchase the NAOS 5000 by Mionix. I first used this mouse at my cousins house and from that point it burnt a hole in my mind. I tried efforts from other mice but nothing felt like the Naos 5000, the ergonomically designed and rubberizeds surface makes the NAOS 5000 the most comfortable mouse EVER!

It is getting to the point were I don't want to sit down and put my finger in my *** and move it around. I don't understand Game of Thrones.

My history with the book was fortuitous. Ater my surgery which went well. Everything was progressing fine for that first week. Worst problem I had was they installed a tap on my hand to draw blood and that stopped working on Day 2. So they have to do it manually. *Fwd* Long story short I ended up staying a month instead of 4-5 days because of a clot in my lungs. Not much to do in Neural Critcal Care. So I asked my Dad to get me a book. I was actually looking for The Gathering Storm, the latest in the Wheel of Time series. I eventually got that but at first my Dad brought me a book recommended by the proprieter "A Game of Thrones".

So that's a rather long and unnecessary story to say that I read GoT before I even knew there was a show in the pipelines. My first reactions are to the book as a book itself. I've never read any GRRM books before. I just checked Wikipedia to be sure. I keep mixing him up...

I know not everyone might have this title in the collection, but its worth a try. My son keeps insisting that i buy him Lego Indiana Jones 2, he already beat the first one.Mind you no one seems to have it listed in there collection for trade or sale.So if any one wants to trade or sell their copy please let me know. thanks

Tonight I'm going to have a few friends over for some Kinect action. I love playing the Kinect in groups and its nothing like watching your friends make an ass out of themselves in Dance Central and Kinect sports. This weekend I am going to start both Portal Single and Co Op Campaigns and put many an hour into the Gears 3 beta. Also I plan on continuing my quest to lose 10 pounds before July 12-13th when I go to the great wolf lodge for my sons 2nd birthday. EA Active for Kinect has been great for getting me back into a workout mood even if it does kick my out of shape ass.

So, ever since I bought a 1-slot arcade cabinet with MVS games on Craigslist, I've gone deeper into the world of MVS collecting.

Still haven't got around to posting pictures of the cabinet, but, it's really nothing special. I had to add a couple buttons, and, one of them wasn't done that great. It's also a little beat up, but, I was mainly after the game carts. The cabinet was just a bonus.

Anyway...back on topic. I've been picking up games on the cheap as they come along. I'm trying to hunt down some of the harder to find/more expensive games.

So far, I only have two full kits. That's going to change as I go along. (Full kits are KoF 2003 and SVC...and that's not even pictured).










I'm also trying to find a Japanese candy cab. Those are awesome.

It's been a while since I've posted on CAG. Well, the good news is I am now employed as a government contractor for NIH. You'd be surprised on the levels of education (PHD's, etc) that some people have and they can't write a complete sentence or don't evenknow what the & sign is called.

I'm also back in school, @ Montgomery College, studying Network Administration. I took my Windows 7 class and finishing Windows Server 2008 Administration. Next week, I start the CCNA course and it's gonna suck donkey balls. But, this class alone could lead me to a higher salary though and I just gotta deal with it.

Still with the GF. I'm starting to look at rings as I am going to wife her. Its been over 5 and a half years and we have been living together for almost 4.

I sold both of my Arcade sticks...only to get a SFIV round 2 for the PS3 and Dual Modding it with the PS360 pcb with a Sanwa stick with the octagon gate and the clear Seimitsu buttons with Golgo...
