Hey CAGs, here's my relentless spamming for my new webseries called Local Chew. It's a local food/beverages show based out of my hometown of Gadsden, AL!



We're at a local bakery/deli called SugarBakers. I'm pretty happy with how the pilot episode turned out. It's far from perfect but it's a step in the right direction I think. There was some audio/video issues in the beginning due to a truck passing by, I had to pull audio from another video and it doesn't sync up for 5 seconds. I think with more diverse locations, the content will be more interesting, too. Also, interaction with chefs, owners, etc. will definitely help!

Since I was able to leave my job on good terms and start living my dream (Being a stay at home dad and drawing the comic full time) …I have really been happy. Like so happy that it frightens me. Happier than I've ever been. So I am constantly on the lookout for something to change or for it all to go away. Yes, being happy is scary but I wish you all the same happiness I am feeling these days

Here is something I never thought about buying......a gun.

Why am I thinking about doing such a thing? Well up until last Wednesday the thought ever crossed my mind. Around 6:30 pm that night while cooking dinner for me and my wife I noticed a flash of light outside of my kitchen window. At first I was like WTF is taking pictures of me outside of my house so I grabbed the baseball bat and went to go see what was going on. It was a cop car with it's search lights on which went around the corner from my house and parked.

The officer came out of his car and followed one of my neighbors. He had his hand ready at his side to draw his gun and I was like WTF?!?!?

Minutes later other police cars and ambulances arrived with their lights flashing. Something was going on in my neighborhood.

My wife went into investigate and learned that someone had been shot...

My friend Rob Porter, who is an artist for UDON and has worked on Skull Girls is an avid gamer like the rest of us and lives mostly in the world of nostalgia. He has always wanted to create a game based on his favorites titles like Secret of Mana, Megaman, Zelda, Wild Arms, La Plucelle Tactics, Atellier Series,Brave Fencer Musashi, etc. Cryamore is the game that is making his dream come true. The official release date for the Hyrule Historia art book is January 29th, 2013. If you lived in New York City you were able to receive a copy early by visiting The Nintendo World Store.

For those of you that were not able to attend the Event for the early release of the Hyrule Historia art book, I wanted to share my experience with photographs so you can get a little glimpse of what it was like. I hope you enjoy and thanks for reading!

Here's my experience.

I work at NBC which is next door to the Nintendo store. I checked to see if people were waiting in line throughout the day and with my luck I didn't see anybody outside in the frigid weather. At 5pm a work buddy showed me his cell phone. A crowd of people waiting in line outside of the Nintendo store. I immediately ran over there thinking he was playing...

Though I haven't posted much about it, we've been doing quite a bit of streaming at SmashPad lately with our SmashPad Streamkend weekly stream of a big or small game every Saturday at 2 PM EST. Snagged 2 extra Ni No Kuni Wizard's edition for CAG's!! For sale at my cost = $117 (tax and shipping to me were included at that price) Post on the msg and i'll randomly pick 2 CAG's who had preordered it but got it cancelled due to the fiasco.

Better to help CAG'er's than to sell it on ebay!

I have found the names of management through Google searches, but cannot seem to find an email address anywhere!

I feel like I am being a bit harsh, but our daughter's Christmas present has barely worked since she unwrapped it and we just keep being ignored.

Here is a brief timeline:

Our daughter's My Pal Violet stops working correctly on December 27th.
I replace the batteries and it works for a few minutes and stops.
I connect it to the PC and it begins working again.
Stops after a couple hours, so I switch from rechargeables to regular batteries.
Works for a few minutes, stops for hours and randomly begins working a few hours later for a bit.

After going through this for a total of 3 days on two sets of rechargeables, three sets of regular batteries and 15-20 connections to the PC only to get about...

We all are video gamers here, so we can generally predict when a good game will come out and become a smash hit. Thats because we have spent years playing games and we can a general sense for what will be good.

I think I speak for us all when I say that Grand Theft Auto 5 will be a amazing game, Take-Two has a great track record when it comes too GTA games since almost every console release of the game has been reviewed highly and the sales have consistently broken records.

I did a little research a while back and have found that when a GTA game hits the market TTWO the stock has literally doubled its value, you may go to google finance and look it up, trust me on this. in 2008 its stock went from $15 to $25 near the release date, that is a solid jump.

So we know GTA5 is coming but maybe it will be a failure? Lets look at this from a different perspective.

Fresh off celebrating my birthday yesterday. No gaming related presents but tis okay! I got money and GCs to use at my leisure.

I have been not gaming very much in the past few weeks due to work, looking at ground lease properties, as well as looking for a house in the Denver metro area. Haven't found a house to my liking just yet but my relator knows what I am looking for. Thing should finally slow down at work and I should have more time to game!

Gaming wise:
My friends asked me if I wanted to play Left 4 Dead 2 last night. Having already gotten all the achievements in L4D1 with them, I said sure. So I will definitely be playing that this weekend. I also plan to start Ni No Kuni this weekend as well. I have a Wizards Edition on the way thankfully and my guide came already and I got a copy from gamestop.

So what will you be playing this weekend?

So this week I spoke to my contact at Nis America to find out more information about the recently announced Atelier Ayesha. Now I'm sure that like me many of you atelier fans I had been waiting for this since it was announced in japan and so I was hoping NISA was going to localize it with a collectors edition like they have been doing. So after speaking to them I was told that they will not be releasing the game as Tecmo Koei has bought the rights to Gust. The plus side is that NISA was still involved in the translations and VA work. So after speaking with them I gave Tecmo Koei a call to find out if they would be releasing a collectors edition. They told me they are only doing a standard release and there will be no collectors edition for it.

So what a bummer, but I guess thats what happens when someone else takes the helm on certain games.

Probably one of the most neglected ailments of man(wo)kind. Why isn't there foundations and charity pledges to cure this vile illness? I need to become a famous athlete and start a foundation. Everyone will wear red rubber bands around their wrists and it ail be called; The Bleed Less foundation.
