Cheap Ass Gamer - Money Saving or Money Spending?

By soccerstud652 12-12-2008 12:59 PM
Hello all, and welcome to my first blog post.

I have been visiting Cheap Ass Gamer since summer 2006. I was looking for a copy of Phoenix Wright for the DS and someone pointed me here.

Ever since, I have been hooked; CAGcasts, deals, real game discussion!

GameFly runs holiday specials every day or so, great games for around $9.99 each.

Now my question to the CAGs - Have you noticed you spend much more money on games since you started visiting CAG?

I see the trend of "backlogs" and people spending money on games they'd never normally play because the price is right.

Does CAG save you money with great deals? Or do you wind up spending more money in the long run because there are so many great deals out there?

Are our wallets lighter because of CAG?

Also, this is not a criticism of CAG. I just know I would not spend half the money I spend on games if I had never known about...
