Over the past 6 months or so I have been taking boxing classes and MMA lessons. Before taking them a few guys at my gym warned me that once I started doing it and getting in shape that people will try and start stuff with me. Before starting I was overweight and not the strongest person. Now I am in pretty good shape and for some reason whenever I go out people like to try and start stuff with me. For instance last month I went to a bar and a guy shoulder checked me as hard as he good for no reason. Also, every other week some random drunk idiot tries to start something with me. I've learned that a lot of my other fellow fighters in my city have a concealed weapon license because they go through the same thing. The funny thing is I am one of the most peaceful guys you will ever meet. I haven't been in a non professional fight in over 10 yrs. I just don't get how when I was out of shape and harmless people left me alone but since I got bigger and stronger I'm a target.
