My friend Rob Porter, who is an artist for UDON and has worked on Skull Girls is an avid gamer like the rest of us and lives mostly in the world of nostalgia. He has always wanted to create a game based on his favorites titles like Secret of Mana, Megaman, Zelda, Wild Arms, La Plucelle Tactics, Atellier Series,Brave Fencer Musashi, etc. Cryamore is the game that is making his dream come true. Cryamore will take most of its elements from these games... |

My first ever attempt at making a Joystick
By integralsmatic 12-30-2010 01:53 PM
|
|
I put the image in spoiler tags because my new camera at the highest quality takes them huge lol. So this is my frist attempt at dealing with modding a joystick. I have to say its a fairly simple process and its not that intimidating whatsoever. Unscrewing the joystick, disconnecting the quick disconnect and even taking off the artwork wasn't a pain(thanks to the spudger). So the mods are easy. I think the LEDs mods are super tough which i will not attempt because i am no electrician and i have never used a soldering iron before. anyway, This joystick uses all seitmistu parts. LS 31-01, the clear buttons PS-14-KN 30MM, i put a round restrictor plate on it, and i do like it for street fighter, I hear that you take a LS 40 octo restrictor plate and just drill holes where the screws would be for an LS 32 restrictor plate and... |

New York City Comic Con Day 3 Recap with pictures(sorry for the late blog)
By integralsmatic 10-13-2010 06:23 PM

Hey guys/gals sorry for the blog. I got sick a day after the convention ive had no energy yesterday to write the blog and upload the pictures. First off before i get in to my recap, i uploaded the pictures all to my photobucket account to the album or cosplay pictures will be uploaded there. Ill post the sketches and my artwork here. anyway, here it goes.
My day started out the same as the other two days. Went and got breakfest for me and rey and helping him getting prepared to do sketch work and sell for the last day. We only got 2 sketches done the last day which was one for me and one for a gentlemen who wanted a she-hulk. The convention itself seemed pretty busy still but no where near the amount of 140,000 people total from yesterday. i decided to walk around and talk to friends and try to grab last minute sketches. I went and talked to 3 of my new friends in Lisa Lubera,Logan Lee, and Craig Yeung. I spoke to those three for hours the other day... |

New York City Comic Con Day 1 Recap
By integralsmatic 10-09-2010 01:54 AM
|
|
So this is for the comic book and pop culture and even the gaming community here. So this is my third year going to the New York City Comic Con. I have to tell you that even on day 1 it is a great show. This may be the best show yet with the amount of events and demos that are being shown at the show. As some of you i usually spend most of my time at Artist Alley getting sketch commissions and hanging out with friends who work in the industry and even making new ones. And I did such that. i know many do not know the names who draw or do the art for all the popular marvel/DC/Image/Dark Horse companies..but its what i come for at these cons. I have some sick stuff that will be done by sunday and i can not wait to show it to all of CAG as I hope it will impress all of you or some of you....heck even 1 person to say thats cool, I am happy with. Anyway as Monty Python would say, GET ON WITH IT!
So day started out at 10. I was going to meet my friend Rey Arzeno to go in the show... |

So I finally found out Mega Ran
By integralsmatic 02-03-2010 01:26 PM
|
|
Took me awhile to discover Random. I never knew this artist existed until I heard his song at the end roll in Second Skin. Second Skin(for anyone who havent seen it yet) is a documentary on MMORPGs and how they can shape lives. Its really interesting for a person who doesn't really know what MMOs really entail since i dont play MMOs. Its a good watch. Anyway, at the end roll they played Grow Up which uses Wood Man's theme in MM 2. I do hear people trying to rap to these beats on youtube but nothing as good as Random. I am sure enough many people here know who he is.....but i never knew and now i am addicted. I just picked up his new album Mega Ran 9. Definitely one of the best albums i have heard in the last couple years. Even though its Nerdcore(which there is nothing wrong with that), he gives out some really sick rhymes. anyway MM fans and hip hop fans alike. If you havent heard of Random check him out.

Just Finished Valkyria Chronicles..............
By integralsmatic 10-09-2009 01:31 AM

!WOW! thats all I have to say...
I cant express enough thanks to the CAGs that recommended me this game in my previous blog about getting a PS 3. This has to be one of my favorites of all time. It literally gave me all I wanted in a game. Its a complete title from top to bottom..from story to game play to music to even voice acting. Loved every little bit of it. Not many games get my emotions choked up but this one really threw it in a tizzy. Before this game i really couldnt think of a title where I was so much in to the story line as I was in to the game play. Maybe FF 3? What a game. I dont even want to turn it off yet. Just want to keep playing even more! anyway Definitely one of the best i've played so far. Now on to New Game Plus!!!!!! |

So im thinking of breaking down and buying a Slim PS3 but im having trouble deciding
By integralsmatic 09-07-2009 07:36 PM
|
|
So yeah im having trouble deciding if its really worth buying. I own a Wii and a 360 and i couldnt be more happier. BC is not an issue because i still own a Slim PS2 and and a PS1. So i decided to talk to a friend of mine who runs a gamestop. So i ask him if i should get one...and come up with some games that makes it worth it to get a PS3. He even had a tough time coming up with titles besides the ones you keep hearing about ....which are the exlcusive releases. Most of the other games are multi platform and i can get it on the 360 like Tekken 6. The only games i really saw that i wanted to play was Valkyra Chronicles and Cross Edge. So anyway i really want one...but im afraid i might not use it much like i use my other systems. besides being a Blu Ray player...what made you, the new owners go out and buy a PS 3? Are you guys happy or regretting your decision? Are you ps 3 owners having the same kind of trouble thinking about what games there are that would make you buy one? Anyway any...

The "I finally bought a HDTV" blog
By integralsmatic 06-30-2009 02:52 AM
|
|
So i finally made the splash to by an HDTV. I bought two from Dell thanks to coupons. I bought a 37in Vizio for my parents for their respective father's and mother's day gift rolled in to one and i bought an 32in Vizio Eco HDTV for myself which is pictured.
and a close up i know these HDTVs arent your run of the mill Sony or samsung or even Phillips...but i am dam happy with them. I saw these tvs at Wal-Mart but the picture was off..which was probably due to them splitting 1 signal over 25 tvs. It just feels great to Game in HD. The TVs both perform great, have a ton a options, and the sound quality is superb. they definitley meet their slogan.....at least in my opinion. |

Ill be doing these once every while.
first off, I love comics and I love Comic Art. Ill be doing one of these blogs every now and then to show off some work that i get or my cousin has gotten through commission requests. This commission comes from one of the true up and comers. his art is some of the best i ever seen and thats right next to the big boys like Adam Hughes and Brian Stelfreeze. A little background on how the piece was gotten- My cousin found this insane artwork Jason had done of Kiani from Fathom. A micheal turner creation, It was so amazing he had to commission and he did. My cousin wanted to get Mara Jade from the star wars books. Y'know the ones Timothy Zhan. So the way this piece turned out it looked like Jason poured his heart and soul in to the piece. this is one of the BEST commission pieces i have ever seen. It is a full painting as are most of Jason's pieces. Besides guys like David Yardin, Rafael Alburqurque, Yildiray... |

My Post NY Comic Con blog
By integralsmatic 02-10-2009 02:56 AM
|
|
So i missed a day 2 blog and ill just add that in my day 3 and conclusion.
On day 2, It was another early morning at the Con. My cousin really wanted to try and get a sketch commision from J.Scott Campbell. I had already gotten mine on the first day. If you want to see the picture of it...look at my previous blog. Anyway we got to the javitz center at 6 am in the morning and they were already people lined up ahead of us. the head honcho of the con came out and told us they were going to let us in early to get us out of the cold. he seemed pretty touched about the fact that we all are this crazy to get in so early to meet our artists and celebrities. So we waited till the doors open at 10 and we jetted again to Jeff's table. We were the first one there and Cory(his brother) showed us the rules for sketches and my cousin put himself on the list. So after that we left the table to go see Yilidray Cinar. The artist for Noble Causes which was written by Jay Faeber. Cinar's artwork... |

New York Comic Con Day 1
By integralsmatic 02-07-2009 12:45 AM

[
New York Comic Con Day 1 So i have returned from Day 1 of the NY Comic Con at the Jacob Javitz Centre and boy it was a successful day. Before i get in to that. Ill go through the day. Anyway, my cousin, my friend(his girlfiend), and me woke up at 6:30 in the morning to get ready and wait in line at the javitz. We wanted to wake up early for J.Scott Campbell. He is an iconic artist especially to us since GEN 13 is what we started reading. So we made our way to the Javitz and arrived at 8. We didnt leave because of problems with the toilet and the appartments. Anyway so we got in line and we thought we definitley were the first ones in line...but i was totally wrong. We were beat out by a horde of anime girls young and old, fat and slim, cute and ugly. They were there to see some guy named Sho Sakurai. By the way can someone explain to me who he is? all i heard in line was the girls singing his songs in japanese in perfect japanese.Anyway so i... |

So comic fans, are you going to NY Comic Con 09?
By integralsmatic 01-27-2009 08:24 PM
|
|
So this is my first blog. Ill probably be posting more about the Mets when baseball season starts. But as for now besides games, i love comics and the especially like to get alot of Art Work done. Its my only second year of doing Cons and i think its an awesome experience. Ive been to Baltimore and Wizard World Philly these past two years and NYCC last year. Well with NYCC only being one week away. I felt i might as well post something on what I can anticipate on happening at the Con. For those that aren't in the know. The NYCC is biggest Con held on the East Coast. I think Baltimore may be bigger so dont quote me on that. It usually attracts talent from indie to well known. Im talking about guys from one of my favorite indie artists in Jamie Fay all the to Jim Lee himself. It will hold your usual B-List celebs and wrestlers. I remember at Philly last year i saw Christy Hemme, Kevin Nash, Al Snow, Virgil,Lou Ferrigino, and Test. So it even appeases Wrestling... |
