I got through 2 more games this week, but now that I'm a little ahead, I'm going to start playing Xenoblade Chronicles so my next couple of updates will be pretty weak.

Game #4 – XBLA – Mega Man 10 – Time Invested: About 3 hours
After watching the marathon I realized that I had downloaded Mega Man 10, but never finished it. I also thought it look pretty easy and I could blow through it in 30-45 minutes. WRONG! This has to be the hardest Mega Man games I’ve ever played. If I hadn’t stocked up on some E-Tanks I probably never would have cleared Wily 4. I didn’t really care for most of the weapons in this game either. I don’t think I ever used Thunder Wool, even on the bosses that are weak to it, because it’s hard to aim. It’s an okay Mega Man game, but I definitely prefer 2,3, and 9 over it by far. The others I haven’t played in so long I can’t really form a valid opinion.

Game #5 – Xbox 360 – Alice: Madness Returns – Time Invested: About 12...

Last week I posted that I'm going to be trying to beat 52 games this year. I got 3 down this last week. This week will probably be a little slow due to Awesome Games Done Quick (http://marathon.speeddemosarchive.com) running this week. If you haven't heard of it, it's a speedrunning marathon to raise money for the Prevent Cancer Foundation. There's tons of great games to watch and that's where I'm going to spending a lot of my week. During some of the runs I'm less interested in, I'll try to start playing Alice: Madness Returns.

So like most of you I have a huge backlog of games. Mine is mostly from yard sales. So this year I've set a challenge for myself to beat 52 games that I have not beaten before. This may be fairly difficult since I just picked of Xenoblade Chronicles, Last Story, and Tales of Graces f which will probably eat a good 2 months or so in themselves. I do have a whole bunch of old school games that I'm hoping I can knock out pretty quickly though. I'll try to post a weekly blog of my progress and my opinions on the games I'm playing.

This week I'm going to be playing ZombiU and Darkwing Duck on the NES for sure, and I'll see what happens from there.
