So today i went down to wal-mart and purchased myself a black dsi why you ask well my sister takes hers to school now so if i want to get my professor layton on i really only have a little bit of time to do so. Also due to the fact that i work at a warehouse for walmart i get a discount so it came to $162 and change after tax a nice deal in my eyes, and it came with the 1,000 dsi ware points for the shop no sticker on the box but it still gave them to me.and it also was good for 160 club nintendo points if your into that which was a nice bonus.also the second professor layton is highly worth the purchase if anyone is wondering still i picked it up on amazon using the eca discount.

i really have no words for this except it's exactly as it sounds and looks.

first yes this is 100% my fault. but it all started last wednesday when i finally got my ticket for crue fest 2 i opened it in excitement right before i had to leave for work and left it on the side table next to the couch and forgot about it after i came home from my god awful shift. well today i did remember about it and come to find out my mom when she cleaned on friday accidentally tossed it out which sucks cause i paid a crap ton of cash for the ticket to. but the lesson learned here is to always put your shit away.

ok so i have been gaming since the snes and have enjoyd all of it up intill now.why i have no clue but what i do know is i have fallen into a massive slump games dont amuse me anymore like they use to, last night i fired up my 360 for gaming for the first time in 4 months probally. and its not just that system it my pc and wii also .but i do enjoy alot of what i call 5 minute games like peggle and bejewled that i can play for 5-10 minutes and toss back to the wayside,insted of my normal fps type game.so how many other cags here have been in a slump like this and what was your big hang up?

so it all started on january 20th i filed my taxes around mid febuary i still hadnt gotten my refund deposited into my account yet so i called them they said i will get a letter in 4 weeks or i will get my refund as march rolled to a close i called again and got the same trip. so today i was going to call again and i loged onto the irs site to get the number and i figured what the hell and checked and guess what it's will be here on the 10th of this month.what was the error you ask. well last years stimulas check i got $100 less than i should have so they had to put it into my refund. so in true cheapass fassion i am pretty happy about this silver lining. as to what i will spend it on most likely a net book and the rest towards my car upgrades.

i love this pickup it the new paul mccartney(the fireman) record l.e.#729 it i bought it back in january and forgot about it and it came last week. it came with a cd 2 records on 180 gram vinyl in a gatefold case and a color booklet and a mp3 download.

ok so i got metal gear solid twin snakes (finally) for the gamecube from gamestop.com(see where it's going) and i herd some stories about games coming in some shady shape but my younger sister and i have both gotten used games in the past no problem but i guess the streak had to break soon . as you can tell from the notch in the bottom right of the case its a blockbuster case oh joy i thought no real problem i guess so i opened up the case and what do i see thats right no manual and disc 1 looks like a knife was taken to the top layer of paint thankfully its plays fine.but needless to say this will probally be the last time i order from gamestop online.also if anyone knows where i can get or would be willing to part with a manual for said game at a fair price let me know.

ok so for my little sisters birthday my parents got her a 360 (lucky right) but i decided to purchase a copy of fable 2 from gamestop for her when she started playing it it froze i told her no problem just restart it. it happened again so i said ok and returned it and got a different copy it did the same thing froze at random points in the game i couldnt really find anything online about this so can some fellow cags help me out with this.

well it finally happened again. my 360 is about to red ring for the second time.i decided to fire it up today after a 2 week brake of playing my brothers ps3 and it froze at the start screen of gears 2 so i said no problem of hit the ol power button to turn it off and then turned it back on and was greated by a lovely buzzing soundlike the kind you hear on tv channles you dont get, and a frozen scren at the spinning xbox logo. i shut it back off and waited then turned it back on and it didnt even show video.needless to say i really dont want to pay to have it fixed if i do i am just gonna sell all my 360 stuff and go straight pc from now on.

Controls:

The only reason for the markdown in grade is the controls i mean really r1 for standard fire button, I would have really liked to see it as r2 but maby that is just me naturally reaching there as ps3 isin't my main system.One thing i was confused on if i liked or not was crouch being on the l2 button which stuck the zoom feature with r3.They didnt use r2 as it was ment for grenades.The other controls like triangle are for cycle and x is jump box is reload/use and 0 was use key.So a nice setup overall just the fire key wasn't right for me.

Opener:

The opening video starts off with your ship having to land because of feirce resistance. Due to this you have to meet back up with you team. this is a very short and sweet video which looks very nice and leads me into my next topic.

ok so below is part of the e-mail i recived from thermaltake tech support about my dead power supply unit and how to test if it is dead or not. now this is just me but this goes against all things i was tought as a kid.needless to say i will be on the phone with them tommorow.

Thank you for contacting Thermaltake Customer Service.

Please follow the steps below to test the power supply.


1)To test the PSU take the following steps.
Please take a paper clip - untwist it
Turn off the PSU.
Take out the 20 or 24pin motherboard connector from the PSU.
Plug one side of the paper clip into the ONLY green wire hole.
Plug the other side into any of the black wire holes.
Turn on the PSU to see if it runs.
If it runs - the PSU is ok.
If it does not, you have a defective PSU.
2) if it does work, then
Leave the above setup. Use a volt meter and test the power at the red(5v)...
