I was down in LA a couple years ago for E3 & while hanging out with my friends at the Beard Papa cream puff store by the Kodak Theatre I looked up and noticed a Japanese man by himself looking at the stars in the sidewalk. At first he looked like any other tourist, and then I realized it was...Shigeru Miyamoto. I grabbed my camera and my friend and got this photo.


He was very gracious, especially considering that he seemed like he wanted to escape the spotlight and have some (somewhat) quiet time. Not my most photogenic moment, but I'm just glad I didn't have cream puff all over my face. I took a cool picture of my friend with Miyamoto using his right hand to extend 3 fingers and his left hand to extend 2 to represent the recently announced Wii.

I looked even worse when I met Reggie.

I'm quite pleased Kojima decided to recognize the power of the mustache with Old Snake. He looks great, but let's not forget those that came before him. Here's the only piece of art I've ever purchased:

These were crafted by the gifted Shawn Smith (former EGM editor), who also has the upcoming DS game Ninjatown (http://www.ninjatown.com/game.php) coming out this fall.
