I came across two deals lately that I wouldn't have looked twice at, but I pulled the trigger anyway. The first was Cars, for the 360, at Target for $4.98.

I played the demo. It was awful. The cars were too floaty and the surroundings sort of barren and uninteresting. However, I have a 3 year old son, who *loves* Cars and I bet he'd like it. So I bought it. Haven't tried it with him yet, though. He "plays" Mario Kart with me sometimes, and I fear he'll move the XBox controller and not get anything to happen and just drop it.

The second game I got was Monster Jam for the 360. Amazon had it for $15.99 and again, my son loves monster trucks. Again, I haven't tried it with him -- I think I want to play this one first to make sure there isn't anything a little too intense for the boy. Based on the reviews this game is meh, but again -- for the kid!
