For those of you that I play with (well, some of you!
 ), you know that I've been pretty frustrated at not being able to connect the last couple days. I have not been able to connect to LIVE since Wednesday night (when we were supposed to do L4D on expert). I attempted to reset the modem/router and the lights on the front of the modem changed (I later found out this was because I had disconnected the phone services with them and it only JUST came through as no longer being connected at that exact moment) ... I tried playing around with them for a while, but I couldn't get it work. So I called Comcast who couldn't get it to work via phone either (after they ran me through various trials of things ... the lady must have been pretty crazy though since she never had me direct connect to the modem) . The first available appointment was not until this morning (Friday) so we were without internet for two days. The technician came in this morning, looks at a few things, and does... |

I am a gaming girl!
 I love FPS and RPGs!! I got into gaming because of my brother, with games like Counterstrike and 007 Goldeneye, quite a few years ago. Until I got the 360, the N64 was the last system I played. So, I have been playing on LIVE now for quite a few months. I started playing my 360 back in the December '07 time frame and have been playing since then. My first 360 game I played was COD4 (which I didn't play until 4/08 as I tried out several original XBOX games ... such as Fable ... first)! Well, I got really excited and was keen to try out the multiplayer (after having beat the campaign) ... get online, turn on my mike for the first time, speak .... and it all went downhill from there! I was immediately harassed/put down upon and scorned for being a girl on LIVE! (mind you, this was THE first time I had ever played online ... I had not played any other online games/systems/etc prior to this). Needless to say, it took me aback! ... |

A bad day ... but it could have been worse ... |

So, I have never done a blog ... like ever ... but had to vent today due to the overwhelming Monday-ness of the day!
So I left for work this morning like usual, catching rush hour traffic on my two hour drive to work. As I slowly inch my way through stop and go traffic, so incredibly bored, I glance down for a split second and glance up just in time to smash into the car in front of me at a whopping (less than) 10 mph ...  ! My first accident ever. Well, they had a tow bar, so naturally my bumper was almost ripped off ... and they had a scratch on their car only a few inches long .... The police come and (thank goodness!!) there are no injuries to any parties involved!! The policeman asks me for license, registration, and all that jazz, so I proceed to pull out my registration for him, then my insurance ... oops, insurance card I had was a year out of date  ! Oh well, will have to go show that in court and it will be dropped. I then proceed to grab... |
