I want to start this off with a quote I said saturday night, "I've never broken a bone in my life".

First thing sunday morning my foot gets ran over by a forklift.

Okay a forklift is nothing to mess around with, the one we where using weights about 6 tons, or roughly 12,000Lbs. On my foot.

Really just a form of jackassery. I was messing around with the girl driving it. And I went to hop on as she was driving. As I hopped up my foot missed the little side step and landed on the ground and then half a second later got sucked under the tire of the forklift. Not flat footed, but ing sideways. I tried pulling my foot out before it happened, so thats how my foot ended up in the sideways position. When I say sideways I mean vertical, up and down here people. It happened quick and I watched the whole thing. Foot got sucked under the tire, it pulled my shoe off and left treadmarks on my sock. I didn't yell once as this happened, but after...

So sometimes I think my life is pretty crappy and I wonder about what I want out of my life. But this morning, sitting at a truck stop restaurant with 6 other friends, I realized my life is grand. Looking around at all the lonely truckers who some of which look like their on the end of their wits. Other ones who are just as lonely but will look at you, give you a nod and a smile, and get back to their breakfast. It was that nod and smile that made me realize that if this guy can be happy with his life then I should never have anything to truly get me down.

Guess the moral of the story is, if you're ever feeling down go to a truck stop or a wal-mart and it makes you feel better about yourself.
