Ok so I'm going to start with me buying my 360 at bestbuy in April of last year. 4 days after buying it the 360 ends up scratching my copy of GTA IV. I ended up taking the console and game back to Best Buy and since it was less than a week old they exchanged my 360 and game for free. My 360 had worked fine ever after that until earlier this month. On March 9th my Xbox got the E74 error so I sent it to microsoft. I just recieved my consle yesterday which means it took about a week and a half to fix which isn't too bad. I plugged in the 360 today and started to play Resident Evil 5. I had played the game for about half an hour and had just finished the first level when my game went to save. All of a suuden I hear this load zap come fro my Xbox and it becomes frozen. I turn it back on and it has rrod. I can't believe that it breaks a day after they had just fixed it. I had no problems with microsoft before this, but know I'm really begining to hate them. I've been waiting to play resident...

I've been waiting for this announcement forever. I wish Remedy were developing it, but it looks like they've got their hands full with Allen wake. I'm sure Rockstar will make a great game like they always do.

This screen shot was taken from somebody at pax. Joystiq asked Brian Jarred at bungie about it, but he wouldn't give up any details except that it wasn't meant to be seen and it wasn't a big deal. Apparently it has no campaign and has just a multiplayer option. I think its probably just a budget priced release of the original halo 3 with the campaign cut out, but others are saying it might be what microsoft left out at their e3 press conference.

I recently watched the Dark knight and the movie was great! I really liked the story in both Batman begins and in the Dark Knight. I've never really read any comics before but, these movies really made me interested in the comics. I was wondering if anybody knew any good batman comics to start out on? I don't know much about the characters in the D.C. Universe, all I've seen is the movies and the old cartoon shows. I'm just really interested in the comics and I'm looking for a place to start.

As part of Microsoft' s bringing it home event too human will have a playable demo on live. This has me very excited because I'm looking forward to this game and to get a demo so early is awesome. There has been a lot of bad press about this game lately. The so called review preview scandal and Dyak going a little bit nuts. I'm hoping that this demo will be good but all the previews have been pretty crappy so far. I'm a little worried this game is going to suck. I guess will find out next week.

I was really looking forward to playing this game because the whole parkour/free running stuff in first person looks awesome. Just when I was hyped to hear more at e3 EA let me down again. EA and Dice revealed that the story was written by Rhianna Pratchett, the same women who wrote heavenly sword and overlord. I'm disappointed because the story in heavenly Sword was pretty sub par. I haven't played Overlord so I don't know what that is like. Hopefully the gameplay is good enough to make it a game worth playing or maybe She'll right a good story this time.

IGN recently put up a walk through of banjo kazooie nuts and bolts. The game developer shows off 4 minutes of the new banjo game. I was surprised by the video because Rare showed off more of the platforming this time and I thought it was amazing. He starts off the video at Banjo's hut from the first 2 games which was great and reminded me how much I liked the first 2. I was worried that this might just be a building game where you collect parts to build vehicles but its not. This is a true platformer and you can tell. You still collect jiggies and you still use them to unlock different worlds. The game looks like a actual sequel to the other games and not just a cart building game. Now on to the motion control for the game. It has been rumored that Microsoft will come out with a Wii like controller and this game will use it. In the video the developer makes some hints that he is using a motion controller. At one point when talking about kazooie's wrench he says "you grab the wrench...

I was looking on the gamestop website and I happened to stumble across rocband 2. Gamestop had it listed as 189.99 which is the same price as guitar hero world tour. This is also 20$ more than the original rockband. My guess is that because of the cost of the guitar and drums being wireless and the 80 song play list they had to raise the price. This also may just be guess on gamestops part but who knows. The game itself has a release date for 6/30/08 but the bundle has a release of 7/30/08? Both were for the 360 version. The Wii,ps2,and ps3 all had release dates of 11/17/08. I have no clue if gamestop is right or if they just guessed on it all.

Rock Band 2 - Game Only ...

There have been many rumors of a new halo game to be announced at e3. On the latest bungie podcast they hinted at a big announcement on July 14th the day of the pre e3 conferences. Bungie has publicly said that they want to move away from the halo franchise. Also they are no longer owned by Microsoft and are an independent game studio. Still rumors have been popping of from various sources saying that bungie is in the works on Halo 4. In the latest sarcastic gamer podcast they even mention that a new halo 4 game may come out on the next generation xbox platform. There have also been rumors that Microsoft will announce the new Peter Jackson Halo project. I believe that there will be some sort of halo announcement besides halo wars at e3 because halo rakes in a lot of money for Microsoft and I can't see them let the franchise just go away. I don't think it will be halo 4 but i have a feeling that the Peter Jackson project will come to light at e3

There have been a lot of people out there saying that GTA IV is the best game they have ever played including top video game analysts. I can see why people think this. The story and characterization are top notch and some of the best ever seen in a video game. I don't know about you guys but I actually cared about what happened to the characters and I was interested in what happened next in the story. Also the story telling and voice acting were excellent. The game play itself was the best in a GTA game so far but i wouldn't go as far to say that it was really great. The game play itself could use a lot of improvement and the story missions still got repetitive after a while. I have to say that GTA IV is one of the best games I've played so far and it really feels like your in a actual city but, its not the best game I've played. ok so the headset for my xbox 360 broke last week and i was pretty disappointed since I've only had my xbox for 2 months. I could hear people through it while on live but, they couldn't here me. I was just about to go out and buy a new one when I found out Microsoft will send you one for free as long as it's still under warranty. I decided to call Microsoft and see if i could get a new mic. When I told them that my mic wasn't working the customer service guy proceeded to go through an hour of options that included making a new profile. I knew the Mic was broken but they had to make sure that it wasn't my profile that was the problem. So after wasting over an hour on the phone the guy finally realizes that my mic was the problem. Then he proceeds to tell me that i have to ship my mic to them to get it fixed. I blew it off because i had to pay to ship it and the customer service worker said it would take 2 weeks to receive it. There has been a lot of talk about mortal kombat vs. dc universe lately. I was wondering what other franchises might people want to see in a fighting game. I personally would like to see a fighting game that featured all the sony platform characters like jack and daxter and ratchet and clank sorta like a super smash brothers but instead of nintendo characters it would be sony.

2. there will be a playable demo of alan wake and it will be released later this year

3. 50$ price drop will officialy be announced and a new 60 gig sku

4. mii like avatars and a new 3d dashboard

5. karyoke game lips will be announced

8. details on gta iv dlc (maybe whole cities like remakes of vice city or san andres)

9. Gears of war 2 will be playable and everyone will be blown away. One thing i'll bet on is that cliffy b will say bigger, better, and more bad ass at least 10 times during the showing.
