anyone every try playing videogames while on an excercise bike? thinking it would suck a lot less if i could play halo or something while on the bike

I got the harddrive for $40 after a $7 coupon on newegg, and I bought and empty shell on ebay for $13. All in all the process took about 3 minutes to flash the drive and a few more to insert it in the empty case. It doesn't play xbox 1 games, but it looks easy enough to fix. But, the process requires you to have both your computers harddrive and the drive you want to use on the xbox be connected to the same computer at the same time, but i'm running a laptop so that is impossible for me and I don't care too much. Saved close to $80 by doing this.

I'm thinking of saving up to build a gaming rig. But then everytime I think about it my dream computer would either run ubuntu or be a hackintosh, and I would hate just to reboot to play a game. My favorite genres are in this order sports, racing, and online shooters mainly halo 3. I've never played an rts unless you count oregon trail so I don't know if I would like them. And I don't want to get sucked into paying a monthly fee for mmos. I really like the sit down and play aspect of consoles I don't really want to deal with tweaking the controls before ever playing the game. So do you think pc gaming is worth it in my circumstances?

I went through about 3 original 360s. Then today I trade in my perfectly working 360 jasper and exchange it for a slim. The slim is quiet and all but one problem. I can't get a picture on my screen. No need to say i'm super pissed off and can't exchange it because I got the last one. you microsoft

I am using Ubuntu 10.04 right now and it's great. All the applications I use on a daily basis are available and free to download. The only windows program i use (office 2007) runs perfectly in wine. All my applications are automatically updated as well. To top it off it's pretty much a hassle free computing environment. So why is it that Microsoft Windows has such a strong stranglehold over the desktop operating system market?

If I wanted to watch the backlog of a tv show I would go out and buy the dvd. No commercials, no buffering, upscaled on psp, and no possible browser crashes due to flash acting up.

i no longer use it. my buddy is thinking of upgrading to a slim and needs a way to back up his harddrive and thought i would save him the trouble of buying a transfer kit by putting it in a usb enclosure i have. so does anyone know how to remove ms propietary crap and make it usable?

why the heck game updates are so much larger on ps3? i can't remember i waited longer than a minute to play a game after inserting it in my 360. but why in the world is there a 450mb patch for bad company 2 on ps3? it's seriously annoying

I don't like Gamestop because they never have any deals on games really. I prefer to get cash for my games because I can then use the money to buy games from wherever has the best deal. So is there anywhere that doesn't take as much of a fee for selling your items?

I can't return it because I can't find the receipt. i have a $10 gift certificate for best buy and it looks like they only sell nyko brand online. anyone have any experience with them?

Recently my hometown Kerasotes got bought out by AMC, and it got me thinking. I here everyone complain about movie prices but seriously where else can you kill a few hours for $8? I here bad things about AMC and am worried they will jack up prices and ruin my theatre.

Basically they charge you $25 a year and you earn points with every debit card purchase. I didn't ask to be signed up but talked with teller about it and said I would consider it. Well she must have took it as a yes and signed me up anyway. Well today I get billed after about 2 months. So I figured I've been billed anyway why not check and see if I have enough points for something. Low and behold i've racked up enough points for a $25 gift card to best buy in 2 months. I've already made up for the deficit. So any CAGS out there who buy alot of stuff on there debit card might want to look into this.
