It is inexcusable that 4 years afer launch only a portion of games allow in game music. I love how that when my mp3 players battery is dead on the 360 i just plug it into a usb port and play my music through my tvs speakers. The music just plays over the in game music. I don't see what is preventing sony from just allowing us to play our music over the game soundtrack rather than programing this feature in for individual games. Not much of a setback but it still pisses me off that i can't play my music during bad company 2

something compelled me to buy a zippo on amazon today. is it weird or is it good survival skills if i ever need it?

Does the npd count units shipped to retailers or does it count actual sales to consumers? Also, does the developer/publisher get paid based on units shipped, or units sold through to the consumer? Just something i've always wondered about.

Thinking of getting a plasma for playing games and watching movies. i'm not a videophile and I wear glasses so my eyesight isn't 20/20. My question is a 1080p set worth about $200 more in that size? I am a college student so don't make much money and will probably upgrade when I graduate and get a better job and use this one as a tv to fall asleep to anyway. so what do you guys think i should do?

And it works great. doesn't play xbox 1 games but then again i have no desire to play xbox 1 games and if i want too i can always swap it out for my old 20gb. so if anyone is interested in buying a harddrive from ebay for much cheaper than official one i highly reccomend not paying more money to microshaft

I put in about 2 hours of this game the day it came out but then I got torn away to play battlefield bad company 2 and nhl 10 and still haven't come back to this game. If it's as great as everyone thinks it is why am i not compelled to come back to it right now?

I hate them with a passion. What if I just want to spend a few bucks to get a tv show i missed? I have to go out and spend $20 that is ridiculus. This is what i love about the ps3 i don't need any stupid points to buy stuff off the playstation store. I'm sorry but i'm not going to go spend $20 on points to buy a $2 tv show

For movies I don't even bother reading the reviews anymore and I just go to whatever looks like it will be worth my $8. Video games are more expensive but I think I can get a better idea if I will like a game by watching gameplay videos or spending $5 and renting the game and deciding whether or not i want to spend my money on it. So what do you guys think you even read game reviews anymore?

Thinking of going down there tommorow. But need to justify spending $5 for a train ticket other than just walking around and getting lunch. So anyone know of any fun stuff to do around there? Or should i just take my dog for a walk around my house for free and get the same amount of fresh air

If given the choice i will always pull through. If parking is slanted i just pull in. If it's vertical parking I will back in if nobody is behind me because i find it much easier to get out. So how bout you guys how do you park?

Wouldn't it be great if steam came to linux? PC gamers could save $100-200 on every build and those of use who prefer linux but only use windows for occasional gaming wouldn't have to keep a separate partion/ harddrive for windows. heck windows is one of the main reasons i don't build a gaming rig. Not about to give up linux just for gaming and am too lazy to reboot. And wouldn't it make more sense for valve to port steam over to linux than mac because with a mac your hardware choices are basically limited and you can't legally install osx on a non mac computer?

For $78 from some guy on ebay. he had 99.3% feedback and it had ebay buyer protection. It had genuine and oem in the description. Now i'm just kind of worried it won't be legit and i will be banned from xbox live. but then again i know that they just dump the same exact firmware on non ms drive so i don't know how ms would tell the difference. anyone ever have any experience with this kind of stuff?

When the xbox 360 first came out it was $300 for the core and $400 for the premium with the only difference being a 20 gb harddrive which they sold for $100. Which essentialy meant if they ran out of premiums you could always buy the hd later and not pay anymore than if they had a premium. I don't think they did this because they wanted to save the consumer money. I think they did this because they realized the profit margin on selling a 20gb harddrive had to be close to $80 whille the profit margin on selling the console was probably a few bucks max. So this is why xbox 360 acessories are overprices. Because they are propietary and they are a way for microsoft to make higher profit margins in their gaming division.

The other day I went to Gamestop to pick up Bad Company 2 and the guy at the store kept asking me if I wanted to role my $5 over to another preorder for no extra charge. I then asked him "wouldn't I be $5 short on Bad Company 2?" he told me it wouldn't but I was skeptical so didn't preorder anything else. Is this a new policy or what when you pick up an existing preorder you get a free preorder?
