I am just about finished with George R.R. Martin's classic, 'A Game of Thrones'. I have to say this is one of the most intriguing novels I have read in a long time. I can't wait to see what continues to transpire in this series.

I also just finished 'Missing Links' by Rick Reilly, which is a surprisingly good read for a golf based novel. If you enjoyed the movie 'Caddyshack', then I think you would dig this.

After 'Thrones', I will be reading 'The Last Horizon' by James Hilton. It is tough for me to read a series without sampling other works in between. I will be heading back into Martin's world very soon though, as 'Horizon' is a nice, short read.

Anyhow, I highly recommend picking up 'A Game of Thrones' to those that enjoy fantasy novels. Martin is not afraid to take his characters to places that other authors don't want to tread with theirs.
