So ever since MW2 came out, it has dominated my gaming. My backlog is growing but i cant seem to put this game down. I have mass effect 2(that i was very excited for), dead space, splinter cell double agent, dark siders, sabateour, COD W@W(or i hope to have it in the mail soon), 007 quantom of solace and lost planet, all untouched, but i just cant get away from this game.

UGH!!!!!

The silver lining: My live runs out in May, im going to purposelly not buy more live and just play all of my backlog during that time, also slow summer game-wise and ill be out of University soon so hopefully i can catch up then, if needed.

Due to the giant amount of blog posters who post things i have no desire to look at or even see pictures of when attempting to skim through the recent blogs I have to ask: Is there a way to ignore a blog poster? I believe there is a way to do so in the forums. If not, has it ever been considered?

(Metro 2033 is an upcoming action-oriented video game with a combination of survival horror, RPG, and first-person shooter elements. The game is based on the novel Metro 2033 by Russian author Dmitry Glukhovsky.)

Am I the only person excited for this game? I've read the book, and it is great and from what I've read its looking pretty good. Another bonus about this game is that it is one of the only 360 exclusives to be released for $60 CAD rather then the $70 we usually have to pay.

The game will take place in post-apocalyptic Moscow, mostly inside the metro system, but occasionally the player will go topside to scavenge for valuables. The enemies that the player will be facing range from human renegades to giant mutated rat-demons. The guns in the game usually consist of makeshift weapons that are usually two weapons put together, ...

Finally finished that bad boy off. Great game, cant wait to get my hands on the sequel.(And if youve got one for trade, PM ) I was happy with the ending I got, let the council died, so i chose anderson to lead the new council . I unfortunately did not get every assignment done so im going through a second playthrough for that. Quick question, can you convince saren against fighting you? I saw some charm and intimitade options that were greyed out, but i fought him twice.

I just want to thank all of you CAGs who told me to stick with ME. As soon as I got out of the citadel I havent turned back. I am Ilos right now and i am loving it, updated armor, weapons etc. and im loving it. I have a quick question though, is there anyway to talk to wrex without having to kill him?

In other news, great last few days, watched both the girls and the guys bring home the gold in hockey, no offense you yanks, watched us clean up in curling(almost) and the speed skating gold, also called in twelve nukes in the last three days in MW2. Great stuff.

Hmm..... I dont even know how to get into this without apearing to be one of those losers trying to get comments by posting semi-controversial things. I purchased Mass Effect, last year, around february, and i got to the part where you become a spectre (gasp, far i know) before i grew bored of it and moved on(I blame Batman AA among other things). i sold it. After hearing the ridiculous things about ME 2, i decided id like to play the first game through, before i start ME 2. So i borrowed it from my buddy, got just as far as i did last time and.... you guessed it, got bored again. WHY!!!!! I feel spurred by the games story, even if i hate that i cant scope in much or at all with my weapons. But god damn it, i cant maintain interest. Can anyone give me some advice as to how to get into it and stay into it. thanks, in advance.

Hello, cags. I havent blogged for a bit so i decided to do one here. Just two days ago i downloaded patapon on a whim, had nothing better to play on my psp, and my god, i am addicted. Its a crazy fun game and i reccomend it(or perhaps even its sequel) to anyone who has a psp. For those who dont know about it, its kind of like a rhythm based RTS. You command your pons(?) to attack and move forward to a beat. It is extremely addictive. Anyway onto console gaming:

PS3: Nothing, i did dust it last week though, it looked a little nasty.

Wii: played some wii sports with some of my younger cousins, thats really all. Did pick up HotD OK, looking forward to play it.

360: Been playing it like nuts lately. Im enjoying MW2 regardless of the boosting, glitches etc. Fun game, definetely reccomend it even if it doesnt drop in price for another, i dont know four years and two sequels? Also playing NFS shift, great game there, probably totally...

I'm changing my gamertag! MS has given me 3 days to change it, but too what?

Let me paint you this picture. In may i fell into a gaming funk, i couldnt play for more than an hour before getting bored or distracted, fast forward to 2 days ago. I just got my x1s in the mail and afro samurai the day before.

After setting everything up i played afro samurai, for 5 HOURS!!!!!!!!! I hadn't had a hardcore gaming session like that for months. Afro samurais awesome voice talent and narration and unbelievable sound track combined with the x1s made me appreciate gaming all over again. More about afro samurai, its a great fun game. One thing though but is it just me or was it overlooked hugely? I had heard nothing about this before i played the demo in april.


Anyway now that im gaming again it feels great too just sit down and play a game and enjoy it, thanks for reading!

Anyway i recently picked up wolverine for the ps3 for 15 dollars at a pawn shop.

now, keep in mind that i have only played a few hours of this game. I am enjoying it, although the flashback called the place they were at canada, not BC, canada, because we all know thats where it is. anyway the game is fun, kind of like god of war, except there is not hordes and hordes of enemies, there are semi-bosses, such as the minotaurs etc. in GOW. The combat is fluid. there is this thing called feral senses which shows you where to got next(like fable 2s golden trail) and where invisible enemies are(ghosts) lots and lots of gore, its insane. AND CLAWS GO IN!, CLAWS GO OUT! Not sure if i can recommend it for 60 but for 30 id say pick it up.
Ive also been playing conflict denied ops(ps3) and i must say, the game is definetely not good i dont really want to expand on that...

Ive been considering changing my gamertag as of recently, just to have a cooler name and because my old gamertag is kind of lame. My old gamertag is Spartan 116 Rob, now before you get all up and at em, let me say, when i originally got my xbox i had no idea what xbox live was and i had halo, i assumed that it would be my name on the console, then my friends were like dude check this out so i started up and thinking it was online and for halo only i chose this gamertag, then i migrated and blah blah blah, you get it. And now the name seems kind of lame, im debating just doing Rob Minhas, or something involving alex mercer, devil may cry or Burnout paradise or left 4 dead. ONe thing is it cost 10 bucks(800 ms points) to do this and i dont know if its worth it, any cags out there who think it is or isnt worth it id like to hear what you have to say and some new gamertags would be nice, especially if their funny =)

if you read my last blog, then you know about the crapload of stuff i bought. Well could someone help me out? Ive been trying to find a ready to print box art online for: Halo 3, Oblivion, Far cry 2 and perfect dark zero, i know i could resize them but that doesnt work too well for me, so if anyone can help me out id sure appreciate it! Anyway i got the new terminator game from a friend and ive got to say, its like gears of war, just without the stuff that makes gears gears. Im talking about executions and all the other good stuff. Cover based, you walk slow, easy enemies and tough enemies, lots of driving/shooting out of cars. And theres really crappy voice acting, which is emberassing to watch. Now i got fallout 3 a while ago and i just cant seem to get into it, not only is it ridiculously hard and i dont have like any ammo its just not the type of game that id go back too. The only reason i havent gotten rid of it yet is because i played 70 bucks for it. Horrible horrible...

now for those of you who dont know i have a 3 part blog about the ps3 and i guess this is kind of part 3. I have played infamous, NFS undercover and cod 4. As far as gameplay goes the latter two play almost the same as thier 360 counter parts, although with nfs some of the changing of controls was the huges pain in the ass. Infamous was, just another sony exclusive that was good but sony fanboys thought it was the second coming. Anyway, the consensus

CONSENSUS:
If you have a next gen console already and you have a computer, you really dont need a PS3, What does the ps3 do? It plays games, which is something and xbox 360 and even a wii do. It enables you to surf the internet, something a computer does do, it also does it faster(sometimes) and easier. So if you are a semi-hardcore casual gamer who already owns a computer, and you walk into a wal-mart or gamestop or whatever, think about the extra $200(360 arcade), $130 (wii), $100(360 pro) or zero dollars(elite...
