I just picked up the new PS3 remote thinking it would be nice over the previous model, since that one was fairly useless seeing how it only controlled the PS3. The new one controls my PS3, Sony Bravia and Sony surround sound... only problem is the remote kinda sucks.

My main issue is you have to constantly switch between device on it. It has a PS3, AMP and TV button. i can't use the PS3 circle button to turn on the PS3 unless i turn the controller on to PS3 devices first. That's two button pushes. Then to turn my volume i have to switch to AMP. If i don't, it attempts to adjust the volume on my TV. Needless to say, the set-up does not work for me. I'll probably return it. That's all i have to say about that.

I've been gone for almost seven months and I'm terrified of thinking of all the ps3 updates I'll have to sit through!

I've been following all the uncharted movie news and i'm a little skeptical of what I've heard so far, but mostly sad that Nathan Fillion wasn't cast as Drake. I mean he's played the part in just about everything he's done.

So far they have DeNiro as a possible Sully and Joe Peshi playing somebody else, probably a greedy villian such as Eddie in Drake's Fortune.

I was wondering who they would cast as the female leads?

What are your thoughts on Elena or Chloe?

I would cast Rhona Mitra (from Boston Legal) as Chloe. She's got the look and the accent packed down.

I'm not sure about Elena? Who would you guys like to see???

Microsoft is smart. They want me to buy Kinect and charge me $150 to yell and wave my arms at my xbox. Thanks but no thanks Mr. Xbox, I do that just fine already without Kinect. But thanx anyways!

I recently played through 'A Link to the Past' and noticed a rift in the story that is never brought up.

At the beginning of the game when your Uncle gives you his sword, he tries to tell you that "Zelda is your....."

I don't know if they just threw that in there just to be dramatic, but the statement is never anwser or even a plot in the game.

Now I love Zelda games, but lets be honest. The stories and writing are horrible. If fact, I can't stand talking to any towns people in any Zelda game because the conversations are just stupid. Fortunate for us the gameplay makes up for it.

Or maybe Link's Uncle was trying to tell give him a line from SpaceBalls... "Zelda's your father's brother's nephew's cousin's former roommate."

Today I was in the MAC store looking just browsing around when one of the employees started chatting with me and asked me if I'd ever consider buying a MAC? I told him probably not. Instead of leaving me alone, he basically started to try to convert me on the spot by testifying how MAC has changed his life and blah blah blah.

Don't get me wrong, I got nothing personal against Apple and I'm not a Microsoft fan boy by any means, but what is with the Apple mentality??? Can someone explain this to me?

I own a ipod and itouch and I really like them, but come-on. What's with the high horse that comes with owing Apple products?

I've been really interested in getting an itouch, but when I learned that they weren't debuting it with a camera/camcorder, I was really disappointed.

After making a few trips to the Apple store, the workers told me Apple may never put one on the itouch. The question I have is, why not? The droid and tons of other devices have cameras on them? Shoot, even the ipod nano has it?

I read an article somewhere saying the software wasn't ready for the itouch, but I think that's a bunch of bull seeing as the iphone does it??? I really think apple strategically leaves out awesome options on their devices in order to make you buy more expensive versions (such as the iphone). They are doing the same thing to their ipad. I mean the ipad lacks common computer components such as a built-in card reader and video camera!!!! Of course if you're willing to pay, you can add attachments to it, but buy then it may come out looking like a Sega Genesis with an attached Sega...

I was wondering why sony doesn't make an alternative controller more similar to the xbox and vice-versa for microsoft for those that prefer one controller over another.

For myself I prefer the ps3 dual-shock, but sometimes I come across a multi-platform game that feels better on the 360, so I'll buy it for the 360. For example, I thought Dead Space controls felt better on PS3, but I thought Resident Evil 5 felt better on 360.

My one problem with the 360 controller is the D-Pad. It feels clumsy and not as exact as the dualshock... Just wondering some of ya'll opinion on the matter!

I think Mrs. Shipwreck should make a guest appearance on the CAGCAST seeing as she seems to play more games than cheapy and wombat combined, i think a review from a girls point of view would be interesting...!!!! Also how do your wife's feel about you playing so many games???
