F'n Gamestop Employees!

By ferris182 01-08-2011 11:29 PM
I buy alot of used games from gamestop and I went to a different store today than I usually do. I am very picky about the cases, manuals and I always ask to look at the discs. I check several cases to make sure I get the one in the best shape.

So I went to the store today during a time that there was no one in the store. I picked up 2 used xbox 360 games and brought them to the counter. The associate put the cases (w/manuals) I gave him back into the drawer and pulled out one blank gamestop case and another damaged case to the other game! He then pulled out the first discs he saw and handed me the games.

I then asked for the cases and manuals I gave him and then looked at the discs. Of course they looked scratched up and requested that he check to see if there were in any in better shape. He looked at a few and handed me a few decent discs. He also did give me the cases I picked up originally after a sigh and a poor attitude.

Is this happening now...

Best ways to get through backlog?

By ferris182 09-14-2009 02:18 AM
Over the past few years I have built up my gaming collection dramatically. I usually play a game to completion and decide if I'm going to keep the game or sell it on Ebay. I usually sell the game unless the replay value is high or if I love the game. The problem is that I am buying alot more games than I am playing.

Currently I own the following number of games for the systems below:
Xbox 360: 79
PS3: 10
PS2: 123
PSP: 44
PS1: 37
Xbox: 148
Mame / Emulators: 1000s of games for arcade, NES, SNES, Genesis, Turbo 16, GBA, N64

I have now run into dilemmas as to which games I will play next due to the volume of games I own. I have come with with a priorty system / queue on an excel spreadsheet to assist with what I will play next.

I add games to the queue if I feel like its a priority to play this specific game. My criteria for adding games to the queue is as follows:

1. Friends...
