Just got BFBC2 and besides the little hiccups from the network i'm pleased to see it stay pretty much they way it was with minor improvements. I wish there were more creative cheevos besides "The Dentist". They should have also had one for the defibrillator. Either way, its a good game and I'm still trying to find a good team that may need a medic/engineer. Hopefully a team with no recons.

So turns out I won the contest my short story was in on DA. I got a free 6 month premium membership and some spots on other peoples journals. Anyone who enjoys a good story should read The Painter It's a short read and i'm sure you'll enjoy it. It did win one contest.

I entered a short story conest on deviant Art. There are 23 people and I an winning with 19 votes. 2nd place has 18 votes. It ends on the 24th. So i'd appreciate any votes you CAGs can throw my way.

Marcus sat quietly as he slowly drifted in and out of sleep. The Painter is driving them towards The Capital to see Marcus's father. The Capital is a city surrounded by tall towers with many spot lights lighting up the night skies. It was the only city The Red Queen controlled that had electricity. It is also the hub for the development of new genetically enhanced soldiers.

"Is the Queen as mean as they say?" Marcus asks.

The Painter: The Red by L. Vera

In a different world and a different time there was a war. The citizens that survived called it The War of Colors and as the Red Queen took town after town she sent her painter to claim her new land. Her painter was an outcast from her army. He was once a decorated soldier but was no longer any use to the Queen. He now served only one purpose, painting.

"Kids, stay inside," a mother calls to her children.

"Mom, what kind of car is…"

"Get inside," she screams as she grabs her little boy.
