Not too long ago, i wrote a blog entry debating if I should hit the pause button; and....weirdly, the way I ended it, was a thought on what I should do...(play Donkey Kong Country 2) but, the thing is, i never really did play it. I decided to go revisit ocremix and see what music was available for the game. (I'll be honest; if the game has a lame soundtrack; its hard to sell me on it; granted one can use your own music or mute the sound off the TV); and.....hearing a remix of my favorite track in the game, the Mine track ; but....it really made me think, wow....and; kinda lit the fire to download a lot of DKC2 remixes and use those as the soundtrack, when i play through the game.....but; i think i realized i'm okay with being the casual; or even the retro gamer. I still know i need to deliver FF6 a proper beatdown, and that's been on my agenda for a while.

Figure i'd write this here; have you ever gone through that feeling where; gaming doesn't quite interest you much anymore? i've been dealing with it for a while; and i've been giving it some thought about hitting the pause button for a while....(the only 2 games coming out, that have my interest are Dead Island: riptide, and Grand Theft Auto V); just have been finding myself satisfying my little gaming urge with "facebook games" and playing homebrew version of game shows. Who knows; maybe it's also due to just having reacquired a 360 about 2 months ago; after having been without one for a year.....and during that time, i fell in love with my PS2 and earlier stuff all over again.

It's been probably about a month since i went through a game while still having that urge to want to clear stuff. (Game was Saints row the Third: replaying story to try and attempt the achievements). So i'm just kinda doing a little venting/ and curious what others do when they hit...
