Ok I am a huge country music fan. I can't help it I was raised in South Carolina cotton fields and 97.5 WCOS was always on. I have watched the music I love go from outcast to mainstream (just like my other love video games).
Next Friday we are going to see Kenny Chesney and Bill Currington in concert. There is something about live music that just gets your blood going like nothing else does. I've seen Kenny twice before and had a blast both times. Today my son found a Kinect and Kinectimals under the tree. We set it up after all the presents were unwrapped and he got started playing with his pet leopard. He has been playing for about two hours big smiles the whole time. Every few minutes he stops playing and runs over to me. He gives me a big hug and kiss and tells me "Daddy... |

This Thursday will mark the fifth anniversary of my wedding to the most wonderful woman in the world. I have done a lot of reflecting over the changes that have occurred in my life in such a short time and just thought I would share.
7 years ago: I finally stumbled into the right castle and met the woman that would become my wife. At the time I wasn't looking for "someone special" we were just both kind of in the same place in our lives and wanted to hang out. One day I woke up after she had stayed the night and said she shouldn't go home. She happily agreed thinking that I meant for the day. When I explained I meant for her to live with me she even more happily agreed. 6 years ago (or about that): I have saved enough money to get the perfect ring. My girlfriend (hopefully soon to be fiancée) is in Michigan for the weekend visiting her brother. I have everything planned out for the perfect romantic evening. Only problem is her plane is delayed for... |
