Hello again! As the PSN outage continues, I've decided to make a short blog post when something related to the PSN outage happens.

Like I previously said, since the PSN is down, I decided to plug my Wii and play. I did play SSBB, but oh God, I suck.

Where are the good times where I would take Rob, use my laser (and Marth "countering it"), THEN use my gyro and deal heavy damage to Marth?

Even taking the Wiimote in my hand feels weird.
It's like if I was playing on a new game console.

The Wii has risen from its ashes.

Today, I've learned that Sony is working on an update to strengthen their network infrastructure, but this means that the outage will be longer!

I think it's time to bring back the Wii. My poor Wii has been left alone in a corner, waiting for my return... ;_; Even SMG2 is not completed!

Hello CAGs! Today's the 19th. PS3 gamers, you surely know what this means...

Portal 2 is out! SOCOM 4 is out! Mortal Kombat is out!

It's wonderful, but I have a little problem. I'm relatively short on money, and I can only afford ONE of these games. Portal (1) was awesome, and I can't wait to see the second one; I have played MK's demo for at least 3 hours, and I've also played SOCOM's beta for at least 4 hours.

They're all great games. If you had to choose ONE of them, which one would you buy? I'm curious. :3

Long story short, my ISP is Bell and I had an old modem/router. I tried EVERYTHING, and I still had NAT Type 3 on my PS3.

Today, Bell said that they could replace the "all-in-one" modem/router for a new one! And so they did.

I reconnected my PS3, and POOF! NAT Type 2.

I'm so happy~

I was on Kotaku today when I saw this article...
It was talking about an upcoming MMO called Spiral Knights, made by Sega and Three Rings.



It's like a dungeon crawler MMO. You get lots of items, equips and customization. Currently, they only accept registering through invites, but the game will be available to everyone April 4th.

See ya, I'm going to play right now. :P

This week, I managed to get a code to download Killzone 3's demo.
It was fantastic.

The thing is, I've never played KZ1 and KZ2.
I feel like I should rent KZ1, KZ2, and finish them before KZ3 comes out.
Because I think I've missed one of the best series on the PS3.

Do you agree?

In a previous blog entry, I said that I would wear my GUNNAR shades when playing, and see if there's a difference between playing with and without the shades.

I think I've seen a difference!

Today, I was playing Minecraft on my laptop (awesome game btw), and I played for... 1 hour, I think. I was playing WITHOUT my glasses, I forgot to put them on.

When I stopped playing, my eyes were dry and uncomfortable!
I won't forget to put on my glasses anymore. xD

That's my feedback on the GUNNAR shades.
As for Minecraft, yes, it's very addictive. I discovered diamonds! :o

As you can see in one of my old blog posts, I wanted to finish that Jak and Daxter game on PSP.

I finished it yesterday!
I finally beat that boss I wasn't able to beat last time. I t was not the final boss.

In fact, even the final boss was easier than that mini-boss! :o
The ending was... predictable. Everything goes back to normal, and that's it.

It's a good game, but not as good as Jak I, II and III.

While navigating the Web, I saw that one of Sony's (or LBP's) mods was hosting a contest where you could win a LBP2 beta code.

Long story short, I won one! =w=

I cannot describe the sheer awesomeness that is LBP2.

As everyone knows, Christmas is coming! It also means the time of the year where we have no school at all. From Dec.21 to Jan.24, I have no school at all.

I decided to make a bucket list. A bucket list is a list of things you do before you die, but I change it to the list of things I have to do before the school break ends.

It mainly covers up gaming subjects, but there's other things as well.

Here we go!

1. Finish Persona 1 on PSP.
(Geez, I have to grind and it's getting me frustrated... But I want to finish it!)

2. Finish Uncharted 1, in Crushing difficulty, on PS3.
(I've already started, I just need to finish it.)


3. Do the Endless Setlist in Rock Band 2.
(Yeah, I know, it's long, but I want to do it! =w=)

4. Finish Jak And Daxter: The Precursor Legacy on PSP.
(One of the bosses makes me rage, a little bit.)

5. Improve my guitar playing, and maybe...

So, after having a wonderful day today, I come back home and I open Windows Live Mail. I see that I have a message from TheKartel (A gaming forum site, I like it!). They also do contests.

There was a contest to win Gunnar shades, so I entered, taking my chance.
I usually do not win at all in contests in general.

Today, I decided to play a bit of Uncharted 2 online. I started up the game, went into multiplayer mode and saw that The Lab was back! It was a Plunder game, but with Sniper Rifles only. I did 12 kills and 0 deaths.

Usually, I play 3-5 games then play another game (like Oblivion) , but I stopped after 1 game! Am I getting tired of this game? I don't know :/

I only feel it's not as entertaining as it was before.

Yes! Finally! After waiting with a TBA release date, I saw on the Playstation Blog that Dead Nation comes out Nov.30, for 14.99$.

14.99$.

I think I'll wait for the reviews before buying it.

- I still need to play InFamous before InFamous 2 comes out. Should I buy or rent it?

- I found enough M:TG cards in my M:TG shoebox to make a 60-card deck. I tested it against my sister (playing a blue deck), and I lost. D: I feel my new, random red/green deck is missing something.

- When Dead Nation (PSN) is supposed to be released? This game looks so nice.

- I can't find a way to fix my PS3 NAT3 problem.

- I'm not doing anything tomorrow for Halloween. It sucks. :/

Today, I received Club Nintendo's paper fan (Blooper designed) that I got for 300 coins.

SO WORTH IT. It's beautiful! @_@

Many of you knew that Subway was holding a conest, and they were giving out lots of prizes, including some HDTVs and a Uncharted 2 Fortune Hunter edition (I think I messed up the name, it's not the good one. xD) I would kill for this edition.

I managed to get Pain by trading a LBP PotC code for it, and it was worth the trade.

I love the bowling game (especially when I play it with my sister)!

I still don't know if I should buy some DLC for this game. Tempting, but I won't fall for it.

I have a little question, CAGs:

Do you know if all the movie rental codes work in Canada?
Do you know if they work in Quebec?

I tried using my Charlie's Angels movie rental code, it said it was expired.
I eventually gave the code on the Subway Contest thread, but anyway--
