My favorite/top 10 games of 2010
#1 Mass Effect Two (Who the hell didn't see that coming?) #2 Alan Wake #3 Halo Reach #4 No More Heroes 2 #5 Bayonetta #6 Red Dead Redemption #7 Starcraft 2 #8 Call of Duty: Black Ops #9 Super Street Fighter IV #10 Blur Top 5 games of 2010 I didn't purchase #1 God of War 3 (I don't own a PS3) #2 Vanquish (Waiting for $20 or less) #3 Mario Galaxy 2 #4 Kirby's Epic Yarn (Bought it as a gift for someone though!) #5 Super Meat Boy (This replaces Pac Man Championship DX since I just bought it) Game that was the most disappointing to me Crackdown 2 - Deja Vu indeed. Worst game I played in 2010 Samurai Shodown Sen - Worst metacritic/gamerankings game that I bought of 2010. Overall It was just a really crappy title at $50, but as a budget title It's fair. I know what a lot of people are... |

"Dark Void is moving into Capcom's fiscal Q4 in order to get the game out of the crowded fall game season and to allow the development team more time to polish and enhance the game experience." (I lol'ed)
I can't believe it, but It seems Modern Warfare 2 threat is much bigger then Halo's was years ago. Now it just seems every game is delayed (and it looks like Capcom is going to hype the hell out of this game, because no one seemed to care. Would probably sell worst then Bionic Commando without any proper hype at this point anyways). Seriously, in case anyone has forgotten, here are some examples of what has been delayed: 1) Bishock 2 (the first to start this trend it seems) 2) Splinter Cell Conviction 3) Bayonetta 4) Tiberium 5) Red Steel 2 6) MAG 7) Heavy Rain 8) Red Dead Redemption or whatever it was called. Rumored games to be delayed soon: Starcraft 2 (*cough*) Max... |

Should I stay or should I go now? How Paypal screwed me over, or how I screwed myself

I have been a eBay buyer/seller since June 06, 2000. However a situation occured through Paypal (which eBay appears to own anyways, which is why I'm upset with eBay) which has urked me beyond belief. Basically I won a auction several weeks ago for a item of value that was $10.25 which is the total cost WITH shipping. However, when I received the item the post office required me to pay $3.25 for shipping. No biggie right? I contacted the seller and he claimed he would offer me a refund for the shipping amount and apologized for the mistake. So I told the seller I would pick up the item, and what do you know? He never refunded me. So I take up the dispute with Paypal and Paypal sides with the buyer despite EVIDENCE (as in the pick up note from the post office) that I had to pay extra for shipping! Why does this piss me off so much? Well It's pretty simple, I got scammed into paying for the guys shipping cost (how did It get here in the first place if he didn't pay full shipping?) and Paypal...

So how big is YOUR backlog?

Hey fellow CAGers. This is my first blog so bare with me if It's a bit Shaqtastic.
When I first joined CAG six years ago it has saved me a lot of money. I am thankful for Cheapy D creating such a wonderful site that has had me viewing it for a good hour everyday to check out the latest deals and other topics of interest. I owe CAG a good amount of respect for most likely over half of my gaming collection. However, the downside of spending so much time on money on CAG has lead me to a very large backlog (or as I rather call it: Backlog of Doom) that doesn't seem to be getting much lower when I go out and decide to buy another game. So my questions to you are the following: 1) When you purchase a new/used game are you satisfied with beating it or just putting in a few hours into it and seeing how it plays? It seems like a lot of you just go out and buy games with the intention of beating them but you never get around to... |
