More Pickups:

I picked up a few more things on sunday:

Ewok, Hulk, and Wolverine plushies, I really liked the ewok and it was 3 for $15 so I got a couple others (Hulk made me laugh).

I ended up getting some more prints from the artist Sho Murase ( http://www.shomurase.com). Since I bought 4 she gave me one for free, I decided to get the one of Q-Bee from Darkstalkers.

When I went to the Oni Press panel they talked about this comic called The Sixth Gun which sounded totally awesome, basically paranormal western (I've actually read the first books which are what is out, and I can confirm that they are in fact totally awesome). Since I bought both the first and second book I got a signed card, plus

I'll try and post a blog of cosplay and pictures of the exhibition hall tomorrow, I forgot my camera today (whoops. ). But here is the stuff that I picked up today:

Artwork:

The first is Spider-Woman, this artist's work actually caught my eye because her stuff was really unique, I actually got this and an Alice in Wonderland print.

Alice in Wonderland print mentioned above.

A high quality Young Avengers print, on nice paper:

Official Scott Pilgrim print signed and numbered (131/200):

Artist image of Scott Pilgrim and Ramona Flowers about to finish off the Duck Hunt dog (this was actually the first thing I bought, it makes me laugh so much, haha):

Alright, my last blog was the pictures of other people's cosplay at Otakon 2011. Now we come to the two costumes I made for Otakon 2011.

Teddie from Persona 4 in his Alice outfit

This is the picture I used as a reference:

The costume took around 2 months to fully sew, and the only things I didn't sew were my Teddie plush and the white short sleeve dress shirt.

Finished Comic.

That afternoon I took a lot of cosplay pictures (coming in an upcoming blog), while my group played board games, they were still playing Catan when I got back and I just sat around playing some handheld games:

And that evening we went to the Scott and Kris panel (from the PvP comic), which we went to last year and it was hilarious, and this year didn't disappoint...

PAX East 2011 Friday

By icebeast 03-15-2011 10:47 PM
So I started off on Friday taking a bus to Otakon that left from NYC at 10:00am and finally arrived in Boston at 2:15pm. Checked into my hotel and hit the Expo Hall since my group was still in a panel since they had all come on Thursday.

View from the hotel:

One of the first things that caught my eye on the Expo Hall floor was the Child of Eden booth, the game is really beautiful to look at:

Other interesting booths I took pictures of the first day were the L.A. Noire and Duke Nukem booths (there were booth babes at the Duke Nukem one, but I don't really agree with that so no pictures):

Here is an aerial shot of the Expo Hall:

And an aerial shot of the table top gaming section (more on that in a second):

Also, while wandering I stumbled on a Dance Central game area they had setup:
