I love the Sidekick Quests webcomic created by James Stowe. I really love playing DnD with my kids. When James asked for kids to submit monsters for his upcoming RPG it was perfect. My girls were just as excited as I was for the chance to create a "bad guy" for Sidekick Quests. Turns out, James liked their submissions and created The Scare and Snaggletooth. I am a proud father. My girls will have their creations in a real game.

Well, to catch everyone up, we finally did get the DNA test done and after about a week of waiting the results are in. As it turns out, I am not the father. You just do not know how much I wanted to hear that. It feels liberating just to type it here.... I'll even do it again.

I am NOT the father. hehe.

Seriously though, I feel better knowing that I did what I thought was right by insisting we have a test done. I am glad to know that the man who raised her is actually her father. All is well and order has been restored. Thanks for listening CAG.

It seems I may have a 16 year old daughter that I have never met... yeah. So, kinda working through that at the moment. My wife understands, just need to do the DNA test to verify. I really would like to do it without her(my possible daughter) knowing, so as not to complicate things if I am not. Just a lot to take in and thought I would share.

Why is it that a midnight movie ticket cost regular price? Per the movie theaters own rules, tickets for showings prior to 6pm are considered matinee. A midnight showing is prior to 6pm on the day it is shown. When the ticket is purchased is not relevant either. I can purchase a ticket at 8pm for a 3pm showing tomorrow and pay the matinee price.

Just something I thought of while taking a leak at work... thought I would share.

Yeah.... no new games. My hours got cut at work so all previously "disposable" income is now gone. Gotta pay the bills and keep the kids fed. No Gamefly... no CAG sales... nothing.

The good thing is I have plenty of backlog to play.

This is my very first level and also my entry in to the LBC1. The level is centered around a birthday cake that you have to ice (using stickers). Please comment and heart (if you feel it is worthy). I really do want feedback so I know how to make better levels in the future. Thanks.

The comic is brilliant at explaining why they made it. (although friends say that it was to cut off IE8) Regardless, I have it and it doesn't work for me from work. The boards are saying it is related to Symantec products being installed on the same box.. either way I guess I have to wait until I get home.

Now that I am back at work, my gaming has slowed down tremendously.

With the announcement of Diablo III, I decided to get a little DII started again. Going with a Paladin this time. After 26 levels, I feel like it is not too bad a choice.

Thanks to CAG, I was able to snag the Eye of Judgment for $30. I love it so far. The wife and I played a game against each other (I won, woo hoo) and I played an online match using the starter deck. I got stomped, but overall it was very fun. Definitely need to grab a few boosters and make a better deck and try my hand at it again.

E3 started yesterday with the Microsoft keynote and I have to say I am excited about everything they announced. Way to go M$, keep the updates rolling.

Nintendo also announced the Wii Motionplus. Do we really need this thing? It will not fit in my Mario Kart Wii Wheel. I doubt the Zapper will work with it... so what is the point? Just my two cent.

So today is day 16 of my "time off" from work due to surgery. I have been playing a lot of games since I have been out of work, especially thanks to Gamefly and the new PS3 my wife bought me. Catching up on all the PS3 titles since launch has been fun.

Today I received Heavenly Sword and Folklore. I have heard that HS is a lot like God of War, and I see that comparison but HS just has not been as fun as I wanted it to be. I know it is short so I will finish it, but if it gets trophy support later, I am NOT going back through to get them.

That being said, I am a gamerscore whore so I am anxious to get some trophies. If it were not for the fact I have not received my disability check yet, I would buy Super Stardust HD just to get some... yeah, I am that bad.
